(Listen to the music while reading for a better experience!)

"Okay, this guy..."
Ryan huffed from his mouth, which seemed like he was annoyed all of a
sudden.
"Wrecking the cute vibe right here. Destroying our first quiet, slow, beautiful time together."
He facepalmed.
"Katherine Thomas! On a serious note, I swear, if he tries to steal you, I'll punch him in his nose. As I said, I love working out, so like- I AM able to break his nose."

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Why on Earth are you laughing?! I'm 100 percent serious right now."

"Do what you want!"

"Okay! Remember that you gave me permission!"
He winked.

"Ah, I don't wanna be stolen by him! And a thief SHOULD sometimes be punched."

"Okay, I totally got your point. You don't wanna be stolen by HIM, but it's okay for me to steal yo-"

"Seriously, Ryan? Stop!"

He laughed.

"And can we just sit...a little further from each other?..."
I tried to move.

"You hold your body right in here. Do NOT move."
He announced.

"Ah...okay..."
I closed my eyes; this time, I was 80% certain that I would die out of nervousness.
"Just..."

He laughed.
"Girl! Alright!"
He put his hand down from my shoulder.

"Ahaha...thanks..."
I laughed weirdly. Inside, I was like- Dumbass, dumbass, dumbass, dumbass, dumbass!!

At this time, Andrew reached us. He sat right in front of us, where Ryan was earlier.

He looked straight at Ryan and the first thing he said,
"Are you dating her?"

"Andre-"
I tried to say.

But Ryan talked before me.
"I am!"

"Did he just say we are dating?!"
I screamed in my mind.

This time, I was 100% sure that I was dying.
But Ryan saved me again. He said,
"If it seems to YOU that I'm dating her, then yeah! I'm dating her. You can't be wrong, right? You're the smartest person I've ever met, Andrew!"

Andrew clenched his jaw, but smiled at Ryan, which did NOT seem like a smile to me.

Andrew replied,
"Well yeah! It seemed to me that you guys are dating! What about you Kathy? You won't say anything?"

I pointed my finger at Ryan,
"I agree with him!"

"I'll take it as a yes."
He said.
"You guys ARE dating."

"Welp!"
Ryan said as he twitched his lips.

"Ah, guys! Tell me clearly!!"
Andrew asserted.

I looked at Ryan. He looked back and smiled gracefully.

I sighed lightly and said,
"Andrew, we're not dating."

I didn't understand whether it was just me or Andrew's face actually glowed up when I said that.

"Well, yeah! I could guess. You guys don't suit well with each other. Like, Kathy is a quiet girl and Ryan is always hyped. To me, it's not a match."
Andrew said as he shrugged his shoulders.

I looked away, pretending not to hear anything. And Ryan shifted a little bit towards Andrew, bringing his palms closer by placing his elbows on his folded knees.
"What do you mean?"
He asked in a cold voice which kinda made me shiver.

"I mean that you and Kathy are not supposed to be together, at least, not to me."
Andrew replied in a way which made Ryan even more aggressive.
He said,
"And why's that? Because we're two different people? Look, it does NOT matter even if we're both from two different universes. All the heartwarming mates we know about- most of them are different from each other. I don't read or watch too many romantic stuffs, but from which I HAVE seen, there are always differences and problems between two people- which you can say is guaranteed like changes in our lives. And if I try to give some examples, then, let's say, Titanic."

I slowly turned my head to Ryan.

He continued,
"The movie which made approximately everyone cry. And why did we cry? Because Titanic sank? Because the movie basically showed how the real Titanic sank? Did we cry for it?"

I stayed silent, I was a listener.

Andrew kept a weird and playful and forceful smile in his face and slowly shook his head.

"Yeah. We cried for the characters. Which characters? Jack and Rose. We cried seeing the way they ended up. Now tell me, are they both the same type of person?"

Without waiting for anyone's answer, he said,
"He was an independent, optimistic, witty, and wild man. Jack was the epitome of youth. He can be naive in his world-view, but is well toured and hard-lived enough to know a few aspects about survival and the ways of the world."

He stopped for a moment and caught his breath.

"On the other hand, even though Rose was passionate, headstrong and challenging, her life was already written by her mother. For too long, those characteristics were suppressed in her, out of the obligation she felt to her mother and society. But Rose, after she met Jack, finds the path to turn into her own self, showing everyone who she truly was: a fiercely independent and brave woman."
"So what can we say? The shown difference was the alternative of who she really was which makes her no different from Jack. And that's what most people don't even get."

He looked at Andrew, waiting for an answer. Andrew didn't say anything, just kept the weird smile on his face.

I felt so freaking proud of Ryan and a big, authentic smile started playing hide and seek on my face.

"Is that enough to satisfy you, Andrew?"
Ryan asked.

Andrew shook his head no, which I did NOT except.

Ryan laughed.
"One of the main discrepancies between Romeo and Juliet is that Romeo is rash and impetuous while Juliet remains more realistic. Not only is Juliet less outrageous and less impetuous, but she is also the more practical of the two."
"Differences are NOT what makes someone unworthy of being loved."

"Alright!"
Said Andrew.
"You said well enough to explain how differences don't matter. But still, I can show more logics on why it DOES matter."

"Okay! What d'you say, Kathy?"
Ryan asked as he looked at me.

Therefore the good listener me spoke again.
"I say that, what you said was one of the best things I have ever heard someone saying in my 15 years old life!"
I gave him a big smile, he smiled back.

I really wanted to glance at Andrew and give him a 'loser' look, but I controlled my urge. Because if I were Andrew, I would've felt bad if Kathy did that to me, no matter how wrong I was.

Whatever, that was not the main point. The main point was, Ryan nailed it. And I honestly felt proud. He looked satisfied with his own work; on the other hand, I still felt a little unpleasant thinking that Andrew had logics. To me- we, Ryan and I, weren't supposed to be together as well...

As they both talked- or debated with each other about that certain aspect, I talked to myself, basically thinking about the whole situation.
