Khushi's P.O.V.

While all the time of application, Rafin was with me. It took almost half of the day to go through and complete all the processes of application for College. At last stage when I had to pay the registration fees, I couldn't find my purse.

When Rafin asked me, "What happened, Khushi? Is there any problem?"

I just shook my head and spoke up, "I am coming back in a minute."

I surely took my purse in my bag in the morning and the money of registration fee was there. I was thinking what to do and kept searching the way, I went through for all this time.

I thought of calling Arnav for once and last had to drop the idea as I didn't my phone as well.

How did I become so careless!

It was almost the time to get closed with the application but I was still clueless.

I got all startled when Rafin spoke up suddenly, "Khushi? Why are you still here? You have to pay your fees, remember? Come on, you are getting late."

When turned to leave without uttering anything, he held my hand and uttered, "Hey, anything wrong? Where are you going? Aren't you going to pay? It's last date, Khushi."

I uttered sadly, "I lost my purse and the money was." only to get interrupted at this point as he spoke up then, "Khushi, I can pay for you."

When I was about to speak up, he uttered, "I know. I am not just giving you the money. You can pay me back later. But just pay the fees first."

When I was hesitating, he spoke up again, "I am not favouring you, Khushi. I know you don't think me as your friend but I do. And I am not asking you to be my friend as well for this. But if you don't take money this time, I will be really hurt. Remember, you and Payel also helped me once?"

I uttered as the memory which he was referring made its way to my mind, "It was Payel not me."

He uttered again, "That time I was really grateful, Khushi. And even if you didn't but you were there with Payel and as you are Payel's friend, ain't I supposed to help you?"

When I still kept quiet, he uttered while giving me a pleading look, "Are you really not gonna take the money?"

Finding nothing as response, he uttered sadly, "Okay, then. I am sorry." and turned to leave only to get stopped as I uttered, "Rafin?"

He turned to me but didn't utter anything and I spoke up then, "I will pay you back tomorrow."

He smiled a little and uttered while nodding, "Okay."

After getting done with the application process, we got out of the college together. Rafin forwarded towards his car but I kept thinking how should I get back home now.

Rafin stopped while entering into his car and turned to me and uttered, "Khushi, get in. I will drop you."

I uttered with a little bit of smile, "It's not necessary, Rafin. I can go."

He replied immediately, "Like how? On foot?"

I got stopped hearing him and he uttered again, "Khushi?"

"Rafin, you know I am married now. So if you take me to my in laws house, that will be.."

He stopped me at this point and uttered, "So what? Can't you have friends? And I am not hitting on you, Khushi."

I spoke up immediately, "I didn't mean that."

"Khushi, all this time I called and texted you because I thought, you would have missed to notice it and Payel wasn't there also."
