Chapter 24

Clarke's POV

I pull into Octavia's driveway, helping Madi out of the car. I know Bellamy's not home, because he told me last night he was hanging out with Miller and the guys. Madi runs inside with her toy as soon as I get her out of the car.

"There's my favorite little Madi," Octavia says as Madi jumps into her arms.

"Hi Auntie O," Madi says.

"Did you have fun with grandma?" Octavia asks her.

 "Madi tell her what you and grandma made," I say. "I made a picture with mine and Stella's footprints," she says getting down and going to find Raven. "Hey C, you want anything to drink?" she asks. "No, I'm fine thanks," I respond.

"Gotcha!" I turn to see Madi getting swooped up into Raven's arms. "Mommy, help," she says giggling.

"This little troublemaker decided to scare me while I was texting her uncle Murphy," Raven says laughing while tickling Madi. I laugh as Madi giggles, trying to get away from Raven.

"So, you wanted to talk about something according to your text?" Octavia asks as we enter the living room. Madi is coloring on the floor while watching tv. "Well, Raven remember when we were talking about Bellamy and Murphy?" "Yes, I remember and then Murphy came and you went to go find Bellamy. Is this about Bellamy?" she asks. "So, after I left I found him in the dining room, and then we kind of made out," I explain.

"No way!" Octavia says gasping with excitement. "But, I don't know if he wanted it, or if he was just-"

"Clarke you need to talk to him and tell him how you truly feel because I'm pretty sure he's in love with you too," Octavia explains cutting me off. "But what if-"

"Clarke, stop with the what if's, there's a million what if's, but you can't worry about all the what if's," Raven explains. " Bellamy is nothing like Finn and I get why you're scared. I mean before I started dating Murphy, I also went through all of those what-if questions. Bu,t I realized I needed to just take the risk and tell him. You and Octavia have become my best friends and I truly agree with Octavia, you need to talk to him," Raven adds.

"I'll try and talk to him tonight about it," I say looking over at Raven and Octavia.

"Has Finn been even trying to set up a time to see Madi at all?" Octavia asks changing the subject

. I shake my head and sigh. "No, I haven't heard a word from him since court," I explain. "Honestly I'm surprised that he hasn't signed his rights over yet," Raven says.

"Mommy, can we see Bellmy today?" Madi asks.

"Bellamy's with Miller sweetie and he won't be back till later," Octavia tells her. She gives O a pouty lip, making us laugh. "I will tell him you want to talk to him how's that sound?" Octavia asks her. Madi smiles and nods her head happily.

"Mommy loves Bellmy?" she asks. I look at Raven and Octavia who are just as shocked as I am.

"Madi where did you hear that?" Raven asks her calmly.

"Auntie O and Murph," she says.

"Yes, I do love Bellamy, but you have to keep it a secret okay?" I tell her. She nods and goes back to her toys. "I didn't expect that," I say in shock.

"Now you need to tell him before she does it," Raven says.

"I will. I promise," I respond.

Octavia's POV

After everyone left, I decide to call Bellamy to try and talk some sense into him. I know he went out with Miller but that was it. After a few rings, he finally answers. "What's up, O?" he asks.

"I know what happened between you and Clarke last night," I say.

He sighs into the phone, "O, it wasn't supposed to happen I-"

"Bell stop with the excuses! You need to talk to her and tell her how you feel before it's too late. Look Clarkes in love with you even Madi realized it today. She asked Clarke if she's in love with you," I tell him

. "I'll talk to her tonight before I go home even if it's late," he says. "Go get your girl Bell and don't forget protection," I joke.

"Bye, O," he says hanging up the phone.

I then text Clarke telling her Bellamy's stopping by her place tonight and explaining the conversation I had with him. I know Clarke's worried that Bell wouldn't want to be Madi's fatherly figure, but he is already a fatherly figure in her life. I mean even at the preschool everyone assumes Bellamy is Madi's dad. I don't even bother telling people that's he's not her real dad, because he's a lot better father than Finn ever was.

Clarke's POV

It's was already 8:30 and Octavia texts me saying Bellamy is coming around 9 or earlier. I am so nervous about him coming to talk to me because I still have the fear that he doesn't have the same feelings for me. Madi fell asleep earlier, watching tv after her bath. I hear the front door open, breaking me from my thoughts. I stood up and walked over to him.

"Clarke, I feel like I should have said this sooner but I am in love with you and after last night I-," I cut him off by pressing my lips to his and I feel all of my worries go away. He deepens the kiss pulling me closer to him. I pull away for air resting my forehead on his.

"I'm in love with you too for a long time," I say smiling.

"I know we haven't had a first date yet but will you Clarke Griffin be my girlfriend?" he asks me

.I nod as he presses his lips against mine again just as before pulling me close. We stay like this until we need air again.

"Mommy," I turn and see Madi walking towards me.

"Hey pumpkin what are you doing up?" I ask lifting her into my arms.

"Bad dream," she says resting her head on my shoulder.

"How about Bellmy and I tuck you in?"

She smiles and nods rubbing her eyes. I lay her down in her bed with Bell next to me. "Bellmy loves mommy?" she asks tiredly. I look over to Bellamy and smile.

"Yes sweetie I do love your mommy just as much as I love you," he tells her kissing her forehead.

I smile at how much she loves seeing Bellamy and me together. he falls back asleep quickly after we tuck her back in. Bellamy and I leave her room, heading to bed together for the first time as a couple.

Hey guys! I know I said I wouldn't be able to update this week but I ended having a snow day today so I spent my afternoon finishing this up, you guys!
