Bellamy's POV

Having Clarke in my arms again reminds me of the first time I held her in my arms like this. Back then I had no idea that I would be able to call her mine let alone call Madi our daughter. I want to eventually get married and have more kids. Clarke and Madi are one of the best things to ever happen to me. Even after everything she's been through she puts on a brave face for Madi. When this all started, Madi, who was just her daughter, is now our daughter and she no longer has to worry about Madi having her dad in her life.

I still feel bad about not being here with her yesterday when it was the anniversary of her dad's death. She told me multiple times that all that mattered was I was home now but I still feel like I should've been here. "Bell, what are you thinking about? I can tell some things your mind?" Clarke asks, breaking my thoughts. "Just thinking about how I wasn't able to be here for you when it was the anniversary of your dad's death and how I hated not being here," I reply. "Bell, the most important thing is you're with me now," she says pressing her lips to mine. I love you," I say making her smile. Were interrupted by my phone buzzing with my alarm. I reach over and turn it off groaning.

"Bell we need to get up otherwise we can't surprise your mom before going to get Madi," she says pressing her lips to mine one last time before getting out of bed grabbing her clothes off the floor. "I'm going to take a shower while you get ready because I haven't showered in 2 days," she says heading to the bathroom. "Want me to join you?" I ask with a smirk. "Of course I do," she says, turning around.

After our shower, Clarke was finishing getting ready while I took Stella outside before we left. Needless to say, she was excited to see me. "Hey, babe where's Stella's leash?" I yell. "On the counter near the door, I'm almost finished getting ready. I'll be down in a minute," she yells back. I put Stella on her leash and took her out to the yard for her to run around. A few minutes later I felt Clarke's arms wrap around my waist making me smile.

"Hey," I say, pecking her lips. "Hey back," she says, leaning her head on my shoulder. I wrap an arm around her waist as we stand together watching Stella run around the yard. "I've missed this," she says, breaking the silence. "I have too, I am happy to be back for good," I reply. "So what do you plan to do now that you're back home?" She asks. "I'm thinking of becoming a police officer, I went through the training a while back and they already said I'm welcome to join but I wanted to discuss it with you before I said yes."

"Bell, I think that's great, you should totally do it," she says, smiling up at me. "I love you Bell," she adds. "I love you even more Clarke," I respond. "We should propose to get going before we end up being late like we normally are," she says smiling. "Alright, my car or yours?" I ask. " Mine, your mom thinks I'm coming to grab Madi's bag from last night," she replies. I called Stella inside and put her in her kennel so she wouldn't get into trouble while we were gone. "Ready?" "I'm more than ready," I reply as we head out to my mom's.

Clarke's POV

When we pull into the driveway Aurora's garage is open for us. I walk in first with Bellamy behind me. "Hey, Clarke, I wasn't expecting you so early," Aurora says. The moment we walked into the kitchen she gasped. "Bellamy, I thought you weren't coming home for another month?" She says with tears in her eyes. "I was told a month ago I would be able to come home early and I wanted to surprise everyone by coming home early," he says as Aurora walks over to him hugging her son. "Did you know?" She asks me.

"No, Miller was the only one who knew. Bell surprised me at work this morning when I got off," I reply. "I'm so happy you're home," she says, taking Bellamy into her arms again. I smile at the moment knowing this is the man of my dreams and much more. "I'm glad to be back, I've missed everyone," Bellamy says. "We've missed you too honey," Aurora replies.

We stayed for another hour or so before Aurora sent us off to go surprise Octavia and Madi. "I forgot to tell you but at school yesterday Madi was told to draw a picture of a superhero and she drew a picture of you saying you were a superhero even if you didn't have special powers," I tell him. He smiles and grabs my free hand " I've missed our little peanut," he says as I pull into the school. "We missed you more,'" I say, pecking his lips. "Let's go get our daughter," he says, opening the car door.

I follow him inside to Madi's classroom like we used to do. Octavia and Madi are probably the only ones left because I told her I was out of town till 4. As soon as we walk in, Octavia gasps. "No way! Oh my gosh," she says as Bellamy and I smile. Madi looks up and notices Bellamy. "DADDY, YOU'RE HOME!" she screamed, jumping into his arms. "Hey, pumpkin," He said, holding her tightly in his arms "Were you in on this C?" Octavia asks. "O, I had no idea he was back till he showed up at work and surprised me," I respond.

"Miller was the only one who knew till I surprised Clarke, I also surprised mom before stopping her," Bellamy replies. "Well we're having a party night so be prepared I'm calling the gang up tonight to see when we want to do this thing," Octavia says coming over and hugging Bellamy. "Just let us know so I try and be able to keep this little monkey awake," I say tickling Madi, making her giggle. "Oh I will, but I can't believe you told Miller and not me," Octavia says.

"I wasn't planning to tell him but I needed a ride from the airport and I wanted to surprise you. I'm home for good this time, it was a good experience but I'm ready to be able to be home with my family for good," he says, making me smile. "You guys are too cute, I swear! Use protection tonight unless you're ready for another Wild one," Octavia says. "We've had our fun this afternoon," I respond laughing. "Okay, I'm heading out so I can tell Lincoln to call up the gang for a party night. Also, I didn't need to know about that," She says grabbing her stuff. "You're the one who said use protection," Bellamy says laughing. "Oh shut it Bell," she says with a laugh.

The rest of the evening was spent with movies and snuggles with Madi and Bellamy in our room. We also order pizza to celebrate as a family for Bellamy being home before Madi fell asleep on Bellamy's lap. "I'm going to go put her to bed quick," Bell says carrying her into her room. I followed behind with her blanket and stuffed bunny that she insisted on snuggling with. After tucking her in my phone buzzed with a text from Octavia.

Octavia: Party tomorrow at Indra's cafe at 5. Everyone's onboard already

"Party at Indra's cafe tomorrow at 5, Octavia said Everyone's on board already," I tell Bell as we walk back to our room. "Madi will most likely need a nap if we're going to try and keep her up past bedtime," Bellamy says. "I'm sure she'll need one after a day like today," I reply. "Well since Madi's asleep in her own bed I think it's time that we get some fun time."
