"Why? Justin, you can't just say that, oh my gosh, am I gonna die again?"

Warning: Bobby/Trevor episode, folks, so mention and realization of stolen work

IT has been a while since Justin has seen his ghost friend so excited about something. As the two walk up to Julie's garage, she does not even wait for him to walk in before she steps through the doors. He laughs to himself as he lets himself in to see Julie, Reggie, and Luke by the piano. "Hey, guys!" He smiles, though his eyes wander around the room, looking for a head of blond hair.

"Hey," Julie replies before narrowing her eyes. "Were you apart of Flynn's little ambush today?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Justin replies as he drops his bag on the couch.

Jess frowns as she looks between the two living humans. "What do you mean? What did Flynn do?"

Julie hands the girl a flyer. Luke and Reggie look over Jess' shoulder while Justin just watches. He knows Flynn advertised another performance of Julie's little band. He had liked the picture on Instagram earlier in the day. He was narrowly beaten by Flynn as the first like.

"We're playing a school dance? Sweet," Reggie says with a grin.

"School dances kind of suck," Jess says, looking up through her eyelashes. "The last one I went to was only good because you guys performed."

"Aww, you're adorable." Luke slings his arm around her shoulders. While she blushes, her eyes still dart over to Reggie as Luke says, "That was a terrible gig, though."

"It was seriously the only good thing about that night."

With a shrug, Luke takes the flyer in his hands. "Not exactly the Strip."

"And you're not exactly alive, so maybe you should be happy we have our first gig," Reggie replies.

"I wasn't in love with the idea at first either, but it could be a great way for us to build a following, right?" Julie asks, glancing at Justin for support.

"Absolutely," he says. "Plus, it opens the door for other things. Think of it as a trial."

Reggie nods. "We need to play wherever we can, whenever we can."

"No, you're right." Luke's expression tightens. Justin almost finds it cute. "Let's rock those kids' faces off and then play the clubs."

Justin holds up a finger. "Julie's sixteen. It's not the nineties anymore."
