When Felice looked at Lena she saw a broken girl sitting on the ground crying her eyes out. Since Lena could see Fabian, that meant that she could also see Felice. Felice guessed that it was because Lena formed a connection with Fabian from being his best friend, but she was scared that since Lena wasn't as close to her that she couldn't save her.

The broken girl looked at her side and grabbed a broken piece of glass, she held it near her left hand. Felice quickly realized what Lena was going to do so she yelled: "Lena! Don't do it!"

Lena looked at Felice and asked: "Why not? Why should I keep suffering? My friends left me. My parents left me. My cousin, who I loved more than myself, left me. What's the point of holding on? Everyone I cared about found a way to leave my life. Do you know how hard I tried to be okay? Do you have any clue how hard it was being the happy girl?"

"Lena I know how much you've been though, and I know how long you've held on. I know that death seems like the solution, but I promise you life is. Pain doesn't go away, but you will find a way to heal. Lena please don't make the same mistake Fabian did." Felice tried.

"Fabian never cared about me. I cared about him a lot. I fought for him a lot. I loved him a lot. I treated him like my own brother for so long, but he never treated me with any care, with any love, with any trust. He never cared about me enough to let me help him, to let me in, to say goodbye. And then he comes back, and doesn't even care about anyone but himself." Lena cried.

"Lena you have no idea how much Fabian regrets what he did. He is trying to come back, but he was too scared to hurt Camila." Felice explained.

"So what? He lied? He cowered? He gave up? Again! He didn't want to hurt Camila's feelings but he did, and he hurt mine at the same time. He never cared about anyone but himself." Lena bawled.

"Fabian cared about you. He was upset when he thought you didn't care about him. That his death didn't mean anything to you. Lena you mattered to him." Felice informed.

"I didn't care?" Lena asked. "I died the day he died. I have been suffering in darkness since that day! My friends abandoned me because I was in too much pain, my aunt and uncle think I have become a psycho case, not that they are wrong. I hid my feelings for Franny, but she doesn't care either. No one cares about me, that's why the one time they get a chance to leave they will. You think they will keep me forever? How long will aunt and uncle handle me before they drop me off in a dorm and keep me away from their family? How long till Franny abandons me to hang out with her friends? How long till everyone I love leaves?" Lena sobbed, putting the glass right about her wrist.

"Mom and dad won't do that Lena, they love you. Franny also loves you. Think about how much your death will hurt them." Felice corrected.

"I am not their biological child. They won't care." Lena whispered.

"But you are their family. You are their child. They raised you, they taught you how to write, how to speak, how to ride a bike. They are your parents too. You are Franny's sister too. You are my sister too Lena." Felice explained.

"Then why am I always feeling like an outsider?" Lena asked.

"No one is going to come up to you to tell you that they love you Lena, it's those little hints in life that say it all. Franny hasn't complained once about you being around her, she loves you and looks up to you as much as Fabian. Mom and dad treated you the same way they treated their biological kids, that should show you how much they love and care about you. They didn't do that because they owed you parents something, they could've left you at the orphanage, but they didn't. They kept you as their own." Felice spoke.

"But why does it hurt so much?" Lena wept, loosening her grip of the glass over her wrist.

"Grief hurts Lena, life sometimes hurts so much that it's too much to bear. But life is all about holding on Lena, I promise you that someday you'll be happy. I promise you that you will have the future you have been longing for. You just have to hold on. Find a reason to hold on. Please." Felice begged, before deciding her next move.

With Lena's grip loosened on the glass, it was time for her to do the right thing. Felice gathered her energy, even the energy allowing her to be in the human world to give a sign to her parents. The energy she was using was enough to not only vibrate the house, but also mess with the electricity, forming a sign to Lena's room.

Lena was in too much pain to care about what was happening, but Felice's parents noticed. They seated Franny under the kitchen counter then ran up the stairs to see where the lights were going. When they got to Lena's room, they saw the broken girl sitting on the ground with a piece of glass resting on her wrist.

Natalia quickly went over to Lena and put her hand around the broken girl, moving the glass to the ground. Lloyd then joined his wife in comforting Lena, who was sobbing more than ever. Lena looked up to see Felice, but she couldn't see her as solid, it was like Felice was part of the air in the room.

Felice looked at Lena and smiled saying: "It's never leaving, it's a see you later." Then she evaporated into thin air.

Lena continued crying into her aunt and uncle's hands, feeling their warmth and love, possibly for the first time. This was what Felice meant by small hints, Lena's tears turned from tears of sadness to tears of happiness to finally feel loved. Even though her heart still hurt, her spirit felt more relaxed, as if she belonged in that moment.

Then out of the blue, Lena's mind focuses on the words Fabian and Felice exchanged before Fabian went after Camila. If the devil couldn't get Lena, then the devil found his golden target, and it was none other than Camila. Lena knew that she had to do something to help.
