The Lost Chance

The End

  A few years passed since the incident, and Fabian and Lena made their dreams come true by becoming a duo. They became really famous and became an icon for happiness and self-love. Franny became a beautiful young lady and a graceful dancer. She was featured in her brother's music videos alongside Camila. All four of them toured the world and gave people hope and faith in a better tomorrow.

Once back home, Lena opened an art school to teach young kids more about the beauty of art, her college friend helped her out with the school, especially in counseling the young generation to love themselves and take care of their health.

Bit by bit their world became brighter by the minute, Lena found happiness in her family, Camila made her dream come true, Fabian got a chance to love himself, and Franny got her brother back. It was the perfect future for all of them.

One day Fabian, Camila, and Lena were sitting at the venue they were supposed to perform in waiting for Franny to wake up. Lena looked at her two best friends and asked: "How did we get here?"

"Hard work." Camila answered.

"Persistence." Fabian added.

"No, I mean from being three psychologically destroyed kids." Lena rephrased.

"Same answer." Camila smiled. "Life needs hard work and persistence. We set a goal to survive and that's what we did. And when we decided to be happy, we worked on that too, and here we are, living the dream."

"We definitely lived a wild adventure, didn't we?" Fabian asked.

"Well Camila and I did, you weren't technically alive. But I am glad you are now." Lena laughed.

"Me too, I am glad all three of us are. It's really weird to think how we were, how we used to think those little bad days were the end of our world, when we didn't realize that we were stronger than those days." Fabian spoke.

Then Franny appeared behind them saying: "I hope you're not backing down now Fabian because I didn't get up at this hour for nothing."

The three adults laughed at the young girl as they all proceeded to rehearse to give their fans a great show. Their hard work really did change lives. Who would have thought that a little word, a small song, or a tiny action, can change someone's life?
