Chapter 2:
Making SpongeBob's laugh enjoyable
"Did you hear, did you hear?"
That's the only thing I could hear while I was in the cafeteria sitting at my lunch table. People wouldn't stop talking about the new student that was arriving. In the plain middle of the year!! During their second last year of school ever that is just plain weird!!
And like every other girl I was hoping it was either a really fun girl that I could be friends with or a really cute guy.
"His name is Ethan Roberts." That's when my mouth dropped.
Why oh why did it have to be Ethan?
Well you asked for a hot guy and you got one!
Just as I was starting to believe that I was truly cursed my friends came by.
"Did you hear-"
"I heard and I'm totally not happy about it. I know exactly who it is."
Kelly gave me a confused look.
"What's wrong is he ugly or something?!"
"Worse." I stated "He's gorgeous."
"Okay now I'm super lost." Tracie barged in.
"His gorgeousness also happens to come with a massive ego and a big mouth to match."
As if on cue both of my friends "oh-ed" while I ate my sandwich. Then suddenly a girl screeched while another girl sighed and another girl yelled.
"OMG!"
I was scared to turn around and see what I was going to find but curiosity got the best of me. I turned to find Ethan with his tray of food in the complete center of the cafeteria looking like a lost puppy. I had to admit it was kind of cute to see him completely lost.
Until his eyes landed on me and he smirked.
Oh no! Oh no, no, no! Please tell me he's not heading this way.
And just when I thought my life couldn't get any worse he sat right next to me and smiled.
"We meet again don't we Marissa."
I growled externally because there was no point in trying to hide my annoyance.
"Why are you here shouldn't you be making friends with the jocks and flirting with the cheerleaders?"
"Why is that?"
"Because you obviously fit in with them."
