"Marissa why are we doing this stupid operation again?" Tracy whined.
"Because when I wanted to find out what Ethan was hiding last time, the operation went great so it's best to do it again."
"Actually you only found out because we locked you in..." Kelly remarked.
I turned around to glare at them. "I knew it was you two, you guys kept denying it." I turned around to continue packing our stuff.
"But it seems just weird to be wearing all black in the middle of the day!" Kelly told me seriously. I knew Tracy didn't mind, she could care less to what she was wearing.
"Whatever people will just think we're going to a funeral."
"Yeah because people go to funerals in leggings and wear warrior makeup on their faces." She said sarcastically.
"Yeah it really helps them fight the death." I replied back to her. "Now come on I'm no abandoning on this mission. It worked the last time so it's bound to work this time."
I knew that my friends were rolling their eyes behind me but I didn't care.
"It's time for operation Find Out What Ethan Is Hiding From Me; His Girlfriend. Also known as Operation F.O.W.E.H.F.M.H.G"
"No seriously Marissa," Tracy stared you've got to come up with better names for the operations. Or you could not make any at all that works."
"So go back through the plan." I told them ignoring what Tracy told me.
"Okay so we're going to pose illegally by the way we could get arrested." Kelly pointed out. "And interogate Ethan until he spills." I nodded.
"Okay now in English please." I said shyly.
"We're going to pose as the police officers questioning Ethan."

After Kelly's mom had done me up I didn't even recognize myself in the mirror. For some reason Kelly found it embarassing that her mom was a major makeup artist because it wasn't a "suited" job (she got all her smartness from her grand-father..) but I on the other hand found it awesome. I mean with a mom like that I would always win "best costume" at Halloween parties.
Kelly's mom had put on a fake layer of skin and I was alot more wrinkly. On the inside it was smooth so it felt fine but when I looked in the mirror I looked like a shriveled up prune.
Now we were currently at the police station that luckily my dads friend let me use one of the rooms. I'd be lying if I didn't feel a slightest but guilty when I saw Ethan's worried face as he walked into the building. What happened if he found out it was me?
"Hello sir." While taking a seat. I stood there gaping and he gave me a strange look. He bought it!! Wait that means that he's currently looking at a strange officer gaping at him. I better close my mouth or I'll seem gay.
I cleared my throat. "Yes Ethan Roberts is that it?" Wow that one year of acting camp really paid off.
"Yes sir. Um just to make things clear, I already did an interrogation before so I don't see why I need to do it again."
"Let me ask you soemthing." He nodded in response. "Do we tell you how to play whatever sport you play?"
"Basketball, and no you don't."
"Well then don't tell us how to investigate." I told him seriously while glaring. He nodded rather nervously that time and I continued on.
"So your name?"
"Ethan Roberts."
"Full name." I reminded him.
"Ethan Santiago--wait how did you know I had a middle name?" He asked suspisciously.
Because I'm your girlfriend. Yeah maybe that's not the best answer. "I just assumed." I said while shrugging my shoulders.
"Okay I'll skip the other questions, I have the info even though I should be asking you just to see if you were lying. Male or female?" I shouted at him quickly.
"Female! I mean male! Male! I'm a boy..." Awe he's so cute when he's nervous/jumpy.
"Okay now what has your activity been like recently?"
"Well I got to school regularly for seven to eight hours and then usually go over to my girlfriend's house or vice-versa."
"You know a healthy relationship is a non-physical one. Hmm kids these days."
"I don't go over there to have s*x if that's what you're offering." He said whit a raised eyebrow.
I rolled my eyes pretending not to believe him but on the inside I was dying with laughter as I saw his irritated expression. I was also taken aback by his bold answer. I mean I would never say the word "s*x" in front of a police officer.
"Okay so have you been consuming any medications?"
"Wel Advil occasionally when I get a headache." In my head I silently cheered knowing that I got the answer right in my head. I knew him SO well.
"Have you recently lied to someone."
He nodded. "Yes to my little sister when she asked me if the tooth fairy was real."
I glared at him. "Young man if you do not take this seriously there will be serious consequences." Ethan put his hands up in an "I surrender" motion.
"Have you been hiding something from anybody, anyone
Ethan sighed and rubbed his hand across his face. "Marissa I know it's you." Ethan confessed.
I gaped at him. "H-h-ow did you know?" I said while slowly taking off the mask and the wig.
"I'd recognize that gape from anywhere." He said with a smirk. I laughed.
"Ethan what's going on?"
He took a deep breath, got up from his chair and started pacing around the room. Finally, after a good three minutes he said back down with a sigh.
"Marissa I'm moving."
