Chapter 3: Leaving him and the creepy weird jelly-obsessed man behind
"Hello?"
"Hey it's me."
"Oh" I said.
It had already been a week since Ethan changed schools and he never seized to annoy me. How he got my number I don't know but I had a feeling that Tracie and Kelly had something to do with it. Ever since he came to this school they had been trying to set me up with the arrogant guy.
"Why are you calling me when you're right across the hall from me?"
"Is this annoying you?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Sheesh yeah it is!"
"So now you know why..." I growled and headed over to his locker so we could speak face to face.
"Come on hang up!" I said in front of his face and through the phone at the same time. He just smiled at me.
"No you hang up." He said while pouting. He was imitating what those weird couples do. (Okay I'll admit Liam and I did the same thing...)
"Fine!" and I immediately hung up.
"Aww come on rice cakes!" he said while I stormed off.
Thank God it was Friday (TGIF :P) and thanks god that school was over. I quickly grabbed all my stuff from my locker and headed out the door. Surprisingly, Ethan followed after me. It was weird because Ethan would usually stay after school and do God knows what.
"Why are you following me?" I asked immediately stopping and turning to him.
"I don't have to do what I usually do so I'm going to hang out with my best bud!" he said while putting his arm around my shoulders. Immediately, I shrugged them off.
I waited for the school bus to arrive.
"What are we waiting for short stacks?"
I growled "Well I'm waiting for the bus." I actuated of the "I'm" hoping, that he would take the hint that he wasn't welcome.
"Eww no let's just take my car." He said taking out his keys and dragging me with him. I wiggled my arm out of his grip.
"No I'm taking the school bus." I said walking over to the spot that I was at before.
"Rice cakes you're a junior now-"
"And last year I was a freshman. Are we done stating the obvious?"
He chuckled to himself while I stood in line to get on the bus that now arrived. As I climbed on the first step Ethan grabbed my arm.
"Nope you're coming with me." I kept resisting and telling him to let go.
"Excuse me young lady if you're not getting on this bus please leave." The grumpy bus driver I had just scowled at me.
"No I am!" I insisted
"Um no you're not." Ethan contradicted.
I gave him a cold hard glare that he didn't seemed affected by. Why oh why did I have to be cursed with this annoying but sadly and utterly gorgeous boy. Why couldn't I have received a pony or even better a unicorn or something!?
Suddenly, a pair of arms gripped on my waist and lifted me of the steps of the bus. Gladly, I escaped Ethan's grip but unfortunately, the bus had already sprinted off.
"You no good piece of yellow metal and I'm not talking about the bus!" I yelled.
"I'm pretty sure she can't here you." I just glared at Ethan.
