The One: Fred Weasley X Reader

F I F T Y - S I X

Me and Mum were sat at grandma's with Alfie and Teddy, we were worried sick.

''Girls, I know you're worrying and I know I can't exactly say everything's going to be okay but I have faith in them'' Grandma says.

''I'm going to the bathroom'' I say and I tilt my head for mum to follow.

''Two minutes Mum'' Mum says as she follows me.

We enter the bathroom and I lock the door behind us.

''We have to get out of here'' We both say in sync.

''What do we do?'' I ask.

''I say we just tell her straight and disapperate'' 

''Good idea come on'' 

We head out the bathroom, back to living room.

''Mum how good are you at baby sitting?'' Mum asks Grandma.

''Well I'd babysit these little cherubs anytime'' she says as she bounces them on her knee.

''Good, sorry about this Grandma but we really have to go''

 I hold on to mum and we both disparate to Honeydukes.

''Downstairs there's a secret passage, leads right to Hogwarts'' I say going down the stairs to the cellar.

We opened the trap door and hurried down the passage way, after a long hour of walking we finally arrived. When we reached the end we were led to one of the secret passage ways within Hogwarts behind a statue.

''Oh Neville, it's good to see you again'' I say hugging the boy, ''You wouldn't know where my Dad and Fred were''

''On the roof'' Neville says quickly.

''Why are you in such a rush'' I ask

''Luna I need to find her, I'm mad for her'' He says while he walks off.

''Good luck Neville''

''Thanks nice seeing you Y/N'' He says as he runs off.

''Come on then'' Mum says grabbing my hand as we make our way to the roof.

We walk up the stairs as fast as we can to get to where Dad and Fred were. When we got to the top we saw them and quickly ran. I ran up behind him and hugged him.

''Y/N what are you doing here?'' George asks as he saw me first.

''Y/N?'' Fred questions.

''I couldn't sit there worrying while you were risking your life'' I say as I melted into him.

''Y/N everything is going to be okay my love, what about Alfie?''

''Alfie is fine, he's happy with Teddy and my grandma'' I say.

''I love you so much, you are to stick by me the whole time'' he says.

''I promise, I'm not leaving your side'' I say.

''Y/N, stick with us, I can't believe you came, you two are insane'' Dad says pulling me in for a hug.

''We're okay, stick with me and Fred please, I don't want to loose anyone, not tonight'' 

''We'll all stick together'' Dad promises.

I was with mum, dad and Fred. George went with Lee and Alicia. Percy and Charlie were together and I had no clue where anyone else had gone. We were fighting off a death eater outside of the great hall, another one appeared from the side of me and I started hitting them with curse as they hit them back. All of a sudden they stopped and just stood there, he put his hands up to his face and took his mask off. There he was, my pathetic excuse of a brother. I shot a curse at him.

''Tell me how it happened that night'' I demanded as I shot  curse at him which he deflected.

''You are a stupid girl, isn't it obvious'' he laughed as he shot a spell at me causing me to hit a wall behind me. ''I started the fire!''

I got up and shot a curse at him, ''Why would you do that, they loved you?''

''Exactly, love is a stupid thing! For the weak!'' he laughed as he shot another spell at me, ''You were supposed to be at the manor when it happened!''

''You make me sick!'' I shouted hitting him with a spell making him fall to the ground, I ran up to him and kicked the wand out of his hand and held him to the ground with my wand to his cheek. ''Why did you do it?''

He let out this evil laugh, ''Because they were weak Y/N! You and Uncle Remus should've died in that fire too!''

That was it, I had had enough of him. 

''I fucking hate you!'' I cried punching him causing blood to start dripping from his mouth.

''You are weak Y/N!'' He laughed.

''I'm not weak!'' I cried punching him again causing more blood to emerge from his nose dripping into his mouth.

''Kill me then! You could never because all that you are is weak!'' He laughed, he looked insane.

I couldn't bare listening to his words anymore I started punching him and punching him. Tears flooding out of my eyes.

''I hate you! I hate you!'' I cried until I heard him coughing from underneath me on the blood that had came from his nose.

 He lay there and choked on the blood and I just watched, I didn't know what to do. He stopped choking and just lay there, his eyes staring at the ceiling. 

''Carter?'' I asked zoning out from the rest of the world, I felt a hand hold onto my arm and dragged me away.

His lifeless body just lay there. Carter Lupin, I killed him.

I looked up at who was pulling me away from the scene, it was Fred. I was in my own world just thinking about what I had just done.

''Y/N you need to hurry!'' Fred spoke as he tried to pull me.

He saw the tears in my eyes and threw me over his shoulder to start running towards where my mum and dad were. 

I felt us entering a hall and he put me down. I looked at his face and he was in shock, on the verge of tears. I turned around to see what he was in shock about. There lay a body by the Weasley's, I looked at the face of the lifeless body and my eyes flooded with tears.
