"You'll do just fine Maisy."

They made the decision to put Maisy in daycare for now, everyone's just too busy to watch her.

Between Beau managing a company, Cassidy managing a restaurant, Eric doing college, and Miles spending time with Amber and being valuable at the company-there's just too much to add a four year old into the mix.

Cassidy used a connection to enroll her into a higher rated daycare center, one where it could be called a preschool, but they prefer the term daycare center because of the age range they hold.

Amber was over and picked out a cute outfit for Maisy; A little navy dress with striped leggings underneath. Amber also grabbed a matching navy headband with a bow on it to keep her hair out of Maisys face.

"M'not so sure about that."

Maisy did not like the idea of leaving Teddy at home alone, or the idea of going to a brand new place with a bunch of new kids.

Amber carefully placed the headband perfectly, then she stepped back and smiled at the results. "Aww, you look so cute!"

Maisy didn't really care how she looks right now, uneasily fidgeting with Teddy in her lap. "Amber, I don't wanna go." Ambers smile faded a little bit and she leaned in, putting her hand on Maisys chin to look her in the eyes.

"Maisy Renee Rose? Will any of your brothers or Cassidy, or me, let anything bad happen to you?" Maisy thought about it for a second and shook her head, they're very protective of her.

"Precisely. Now, why don't you say goodbye to Teddy then we'll go back downstairs." Maisy sadly looked down at Teddy, then pulled him closer to her.

"bye bye Teddy. I love you. Mwuah."Maisy kissed Teddys fuzzy face, then gently tucked him into her bed. "I be back soon."

•.                                     •.                                     •.

"Maisy look, you can play with blocks over there. How about you go do that?" Beau went to check Maisy in, and Maisy wouldn't leave Miles' side.

"no." She was practically clinging to his leg, really not wanting to be in her new surroundings. "Miles I wanna go home!"

Miles sighed and picked her up, quietly talking to her so she would calm down. "Maisy, we'll come get you in a little while. Don't you want to make some friends?"

"no thank you. I wanna go home and see Teddy."

Eric glanced at Miles not really knowing how they were supposed to handle her. He's practically still a kid himself.

"Can't we just take her home so she won't cry?" Mikes shot Eric a look, don't even put that out there. "Eric, please?" Maisy tried to give them her puppy dog eyes, silently begging to go.

Miles talked before Eric could manage to say anything else to help Maisy. "Sorry munchkin, you can't go home for a little while okay? How about we go do something."

Maisy didn't agree at all, and she looked to Eric again. "pwetty pwease?" Eric looked at Miles before shaking his head. "Sorry Maisy."

Miles walked up to a little girl sitting alone coloring and knelt down with Maisy. "Hi, this is my sister Maisy. Could you be her friend for today?"
