After the feast was done it was time to head to the dorms.. I remember Dumbledore telling me and alice to go to him after we were done eating so he can get us situated with everything else.
When eveyone was finished lorenzo was kind enough to offer me to walk back with him I had told him Dumbledore wanted to see me and he nodded and walked with his friends.
Once all the students left I seen alice look at me with a everything's going to be okay look. She could tell I was off edge.
When we caught up to Dumbledore he explained the dorm situation, dress codes, all the basics of what we need to know.
After he set me and Alice on our ways Alice immediately pulled me into a hug "I know this wasn't what you were expecting but eveything is going to be okay" she tells me.
I give her a fake smile and she heads to the ravenclaw dormitory. I sigh and head over to the slytherin common room in hopes to be alone. I see lorenzo.
He was staring at the fireplace seemed to be lost in his thoughts. He heard my footsteps and turned.
"Sorry I didn't know anyone would be here" i explain. Not that I needed to apologize, I just felt awkward.
"No you're fine, I just didn't see you come back." was he waiting for me? I smiled to myself.
"Waiting for me Berkshire" I respond as he smirks.
"What? can't make sure the new pretty girl gets here safe." i feel my cheeks heating up.
I take a seat next to him."Look I'm sorry about what draco said eariler"
"No it's fine I've gotten used to it by now" I respond looking back at the fire.
"I'm sorry, nobody should assume that your family are monsters. Eveyone has a done something that they aren't quite proud of, but we learn from that. That's what makes us stronger" those words were refreshing.
"I wish eveyone saw it that way Berkshire" I said in response.
After a few minutes of staring at the fireplace I decided it's best for me to head off to bed "Its a bit late, I'll see you tomorrow." I tell him. Even though I don't like to sleep because of my nightmares maybe I'll get better rest me being somewhere else.
"Night love" he smiles. Merlin the butterflies this boy gives me are insane.
"Night." He gives me a smile as I head over to the dorms.
I change into comfortable clothes brush my teeth and grab a book. It hasn't even been a day and I'm already homesick. I closed my eyes and it didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

I wake up to the sound of two girls chatting. I open my eyes and it's 6:30, it took everything in me to get up and get ready. I was never used to being up so early in the morning. I got myself ready. To be honest I wasn't really fond of the outfit. I check the clock and it was 7:30. I made sure I had everything
"Hi, I'm Pansy!" I turn around and see a brunette girl who was looking at me with a smile.
"Maria, its nice to meet you"
"wanna walk together, I can show you around?" She offers. I nod and we start walking out the dormitory and head to the great hall.
I seen Alice and luna and gave them a smile. Blue was really Alice's color I think to myself as I look at her uniform. I take a seat at the slytherin table across from Lorenzo. "Well morning darling"
"Morning Darling " I say the same way. He gives me a big smile.
The dining hall got pretty crowded and I looked to find pansy and noticed she was already gone. I'm going to be late for class. If this school wasn't so bloody large!
I see lorenzo and decided to ask him for directions.
"Hey could you show me where professor slughorns class is by chance" i say looking down on my paper.
"sure I'm heading there now actually" the thought of having him be in a class with me made me nervous for whatever reason.
"Perfect, thank you."
"You know Mikaleson I don't know much about you?" He says in a questioning tone.
"Oh um well what do you want to know exactly?"
"For starters why did you attend Hogwarts barley in 6th year? Did you transfer" he says.
How do I say my family has people out to hurt me for revenge of their screw ups.
"Well over the years my parents have gained people who despise them. I guess it was safer for me to be hidden and protected" he looks at me with a sorry look on his face.
"That's awful, so you never really got to experience the true wizard life I'm assuming" I look at him with furrowed eyebrows as a what does that mean look.
"You know Quidditch wizard games, butterbeer, wizard treats flying all that kinda stuff" he tells me.
"not really" I felt like an idiot not knowing hardly anything. He seemed to notice my uncomfortable change.
"Well we're here" he looks down changing the subject. We walk in the classroom and I go to find a seat.
"Next to me Mikaleson" he gestures the open seat across to him. I sit as slughorn greets me.
"Well hello Ms Mikaleson, it's a pleasure to have you finally attending Hogwarts. You know you look so much like your father when he was young."
"Well I'm glad to be here" I respond with a fake smile.
"Okay class whoever you're sitting with will be your partner for the whole year."
"Looks like you're stuck with me Mikaleson" he gives a wink. Lorenzo could make any girl and I mean any girl melt at his fingertips. And he knows it.
