After I brought up the party to Alice she seemed pretty fond of the idea. She honestly seemed pretty excited and that's probably because it's our first ever party we'll be attending.

I mean yeah we've attended parties here and there but never a party like this.

From how I viewed parties I never really found them interesting. Being with a ton of drunk and high people didn't sound too fun. But than again tonight I'm going to enjoy myself, leave my worries behind.

I also got to meet my new defense of dark arts teacher today. I know this may sound bad but the teacher was quite good looking if I'm being honest. I noticed alice kept eyeing him and would get flustered when he'd come over to our table.

"Mr lupin I'm done" she'd say in the sweetest fakest voice ever. I couldn't help but laugh how obvious it was when she'd try extra hard to show off.

I also made a few new friends who are in Gryffindor. When I first arrived to Hogwarts I was told that all gryffindors were selfish gits by many slytherins.

which I never really take anyone's word until I see it for myself. I actually became friends with many gryffindors.. in my opinion they were very kind.

I got to meet the famous Harry Potter that everyone seems to speak about and his very sweet friends.. In my opinion his friends were way nicer than Harry himself. He seemed to be too stuck up and full of himself.

I noticed right away when I talked to his friends he would roll his eyes and give me certain looks.

Anyhow Hermione was a sweet girl very kind to me when we first met. She apologized for Harry's actions and told me many slytherins are just rude people.

I couldn't blame her because I know many slytherins are rude especially towards harry and his friends, plus me being a Mikaleson was a bit intimidating for some.

Ron was also a very sweet person. Although he wouldn't really talk to me much whenever harry was near.

I checked the time and it was 7:30 PM. I was going to get ready but I decided to write to freya like I promised. I grabbed a paper and some ink. I honestly don't know where to start or what to even tell her about.

Dear freya

First off I want to say yes me and Alice are doing fine! I'm sorry I haven't got back to you I've been pretty busy With school work and everything. I made some very nice friends so far. I also never got back from My father ever since I told him I was in slytherin... I hope all is well xx~Maria M.

I made the letter pretty short because I didn't really want to go in full detail. I put my letter in an envelope and handed it to my Owl "to the cottage" I whisper.

I was going to write a letter to my family but I figured it's no use. Freyas the only one that actually writes back anyways.

I ended up reading to kill time. When I checked my clock The time was now 8:45pm and I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" I yell, Alice opens the door and has her caboodle, hair rollers, and a few dresses in her hand.
