Mew's POV

I just came out from bathroom. Someone is knocking my front door. I frown. Who is knocking my door? Don't know what time it is, huh? I walk to my door while drying my hair with towel. Once the door is opened, the person who knocked my door suddenly hugs me. I'm literally shocked. It's yai nong with nong Mee. He sinks his face on my neck. I rub his back.

"Let's come in first..."

I bring him inside and let him to sit on couch. I give him water. He doesn't look fine. He seems scared. His face is pale. I kneel down in front of him.

"Are you tired?", he nods.

"Come on... Let's sleep...", he shakes his head.

"Then, is there anything you want?"

"Chocolate cookies..."

"What else?"

"Fresh from oven please..."

"And... Handmade?", he nods.

This isn't right. He usually only asks for fresh-baked chocolate cookies when something bad happens. But, seems like he doesn't want to talk about it yet.

"Alright~ But, phi doesn't have the ingredients. Phi will buy them first at mini-market beside our condo building. Wait here~"

I take my wallet and phone. I'm about to go when a hand tugs my fingers. He looks at me with his pleading eyes.

"Nong wants to go too... Nong doesn't want to be alone..."

"Okay... Let's go!"

We walk to the mini-market. Fortunately, this mini-market is quiet complete. We take the ingredients needed for chocolate cookies and pay it on cashier. In our way home, I'm really wondering what he is thinking right now and what is he worrying about right now. He doesn't pay attention to me at all. Something must be happened after I left him alone. However, we arrive at my condo. He just stays silent.

"Gulf...", he doesn't answer me.

"Yai nong~", he comes back to his sense.

"Y-yes, phi?"

"Should we start making the cookies?", he nods.

Yai nong takes out the ingredients from bag. He doesn't seems focused at all. He almost pours the floor to table. He also mistakes salt as sugar. Fortunately, I see it or else we will eat salty chocolate cookies. Fiuh... At least, we still can put this cookie dough into the oven.

Ting!

Our cookies are done. I leave yai nong at couch with our teddy bears. I take out the hot cookies from oven. I bring out the hot round-shaped cookies and warm milk. When I return to living room, yai nong is spacing out again. I sigh. This really isn't right. I have to find it out soon.
