Ch.15: Doesn't phi understand?

Mew's POV

"Boat...", the man who is busy with his cellphone immediately raises his face.

"P'Mew, you are awake?! Fiuh~ You made us really worried. You suddenly fainted on ambulance. Wait, waait! I'll call doctor!", he runs outside.

In no minute, doctor comes to check me. It doesn't take a long time until he finishes his task. He writes something on the files. Suddenly, I remember about my memory. I'm really curious why I never know about this.

"Doctor... May I ask something?"

"Sure, Khun Mew."

"About my memory..."

"So, you've remembered everything?", I frown.

"Do you know something about this?"

"In your medical report, you suffered from Dissociative Amnesia."

What the hell is that?! Why I never know about it? "What does it mean, doctor?"

"It means you lost some part of your memories. It might be memory with someone or important event."

"Why I don't know anything about it?"

"It might be your family decision, khun Mew. But, the most important thing is since you just recovered your memory, please take more time to rest."

It must be uncle. He is my only family and my guardian after that accident. Sigh... I'll just talk to uncle later.

"Thank you, doctor..."

"You're welcome, Khun Mew. And, please remember my advice to take rest until you're fully recovered.", I nod.

Doctor leaves our room. It's just me and Boat now inside the room. He sits again next to my bed.

"Boat, where are others?"

"They are investigating our latest case."

"And, Mr. Commissioner?"

"Mr. Commissioner went checking Gulf."

Right! I also have to talk with that kids. "Where is his room?"

"Next to this room. Why, phi? You want to meet him?", I nod and get out from my bed.

Author's POV

Mew goes to Gulf's room. When he is about to open the door, he stops halfway as he hears something from inside. He eavesdrops both uncle's and gulf's conversation. Meanwhile, inside the room, both of them worry about something.

"Gulf, will you be okay?"

"I'm more worried about khun phi, uncle... What if he can't accept the truth?"

"Let's hope the best for now. But, will he be angry because we hide this from him?"

Mew's eyes widen. He can't believe Gulf also involves with this. He rages. He storms inside the room with angry face. Uncle and Gulf are shocked.

"Uncle! Gulf! You can't be serious, right? I just misheard it, right?", both of them shut their mouth.

"Answer me!", uncle sighs.

"No, Mew. You heard it right. At that time, you were too young to know something like this, so we decided to keep this."

"How can you be so cruel to hide something important like this?! And, you, Gulf, I really can't believe you involve in this!", Gulf only stares down.

"Don't blame uncle... It's my request..."

"WHAT?!"

"I'm sorry, phi..."
