"Did I say you could stop, Kitten?" He whispers in my ear from behind.
"Uh. No. Sorry, Mr. Choi." I whisper out.

I use the keycard I was given to enter the hotel room I'm staying in while in Los Angeles, California. Technically I have a place to stay here. But I wasn't gonna have Yeonjun finding out that I would be staying with a guy. Not that I really care. But in all honesty. Yeonjun can get extremely jealous. I rather not risk me losing my job.
We arrived later at night in the States. And it was an extremely tiresome and long flight. I need sleep. After quickly pulling out my sleepwear. I change in the bathroom. Once I had finished changing. I did a sweep around the room for any hidden cameras. Can never be too safe while in America. Finally finishing with the sweep. I get comfortable on my bed and set my laptop in front of me.
I promised Yuna I would facetime her once I arrived at the hotel. She just wants to make sure I safely arrived unscathed. Her big smile pops up on my screen. She waves at me.
"Hey! Did you make it in safely?" Her voice says calmly after she removed herself from the noise. I nod with a smile.
"Yeah. There was only one issue at the airport. But it was fixed within like an hour or two. Nothing important enough to mention though." I smile at her. "Anyways. What're you up to?" I ask as the noise from where she is starts coming through my laptop speakers.
"Work. I'm on break. I wish people weren't so loud. A bunch of college students are celebrating something. There's like 20 students here. My eardrums are about to burst." She says annoyed while glaring towards the direction of the sound. I chuckle.
We stayed and talked until her break ended. She asked if I could bail her out of prison when I get back cause she might commit a violent assault on a bunch of people. I gave her my promise before disconnecting from her. Setting my laptop aside. I grab my phone from beside me and dial his number. It rings a couple of times before he answers.
"Hey, Ji?" His voice comes out surprised. "Didn't expect you to call me." I roll my eyes at his hurt.
"Nice speaking to you too, Mark," I say annoyed. He laughs from the other side of the phone.
"What's up? You barely call me nowadays." He feigns hurt.
"Oh shut it, drama queen. I was calling to let you know I'm in L.A for a week on a business-related thing." I sigh. "Wanna meet up for lunch when we're both free?"
"Sure. I can make time for you. I have a meeting tomorrow with a guy I know. But maybe the next day or the day after?" He says. I nod my head even though he doesn't see me.
"Yeah. Me too. I finally got a job with C.Y.J Fashion. I'm Mr. Choi's assistant. Not exactly what I want to do. But I'll work my way to the fashion designing floor." I sigh. He's silent for a few seconds before speaking.
"C.Y.J Fashion you say..." He whispers off. "Interesting."
"What? What is so interesting about that? I mean I know the company is still very well known. But honestly, how is my life as an assistant interesting?" I ask thoroughly confused about his choice of words.
