I plop down into an open bus seat. The bags wrapped tightly around my arms drop onto the open floor space in front of me. My arms are killing me after having to carry the heavy bags to the bus station. You think that after having to constantly do this when shopping that I would breakdown and finally buy a car. But cars are expensive and I'm not gonna have that much debt.

It's New Year's Eve and I was sent out to get all the food. The only reason I'm getting the food is because I lost the bet between Yeji and Yuna. I know better than to bet against them but I guess I'm the one to blame. Whatever.

"Hey, baby." A man's voice says as he plops next to me. I scoot closer to the window. He stinks of alcohol, weed, and sweat. It's not even freaking 4 PM and people are already wasted. "What do yuh say we go back to my place and test out my new mattress." He winks. I mentally and physically vomit in my mouth. Disgusting piece of trash.

"Sure. Once I use my new taser on your little friend." I say with a wide smile. He looks at me confused before his eyes widen and he abruptly gets up from the seat and sits on the other end of the bus from me. I smile to myself as I snort. "Darn. I really wanted to test its voltage." I pout while crossing my arms.

I sigh a breath of relief as I set the bags on the kitchen counter. Chaeryeong comes in with a smile. Chaeyeon comes in behind her with a friendly smile. We three get to work on putting the meats away and cutting the fruits and veggies. I bought a lot since friends of ours are spending New Years' with us. I think Yeji said a few people from the company are coming as well. Sana said she would've loved to have come today, but Nana has a bedtime and she didn't want to hire a nanny last minute.

Sana is doing a lot better after our girls' day. She told me it was nice to not have to worry about Nana getting into something. The girls loved babysitting Nana and said that whenever she needs someone to watch her that they would be happy to babysit again. Sana wouldn't stop thanking us. It was adorable.

"So why do Yuna and Yeji keep looking at you then look at each other with knowing smiles?" Chaeryeong asks out of nowhere. I drop the knife in my hand as I freeze at her words. Forgot that I didn't tell the other three. I also made Yeji and Yuna keep their mouths shut; which I know is hard for them to do. Especially, Yeji.

"I don't know what you are talking about, Chae," I say while picking the knife up off the ground and tossing it into the sink. I grab a clean knife and get back to work.

"Ji." She looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I sigh while setting the knife on the counter. I turn to the cabinet, grabbing a cup and filling it with water.

"My boss kissed me and I kissed him back," I say before taking a sip of water. Chaeryeong's jaw drops. Chaeyeon looks at me proudly.

"I saw a picture of your boss, and all I have to say is... I wish I was you." Chaeyeon says while patting me on the back. I roll my eyes while trying to hide my smile.
