The darkly lit room Jinah had been placed in was damp and had a nasty odor of dried blood and rotting dead mice. The ground she was thrown onto was coated with dirt and mice feces. The only light in the room was from a small barred-up window at the top of the wall. One could only assume that she had been placed in a basement.

The man who carried Jinah down to the basement stared in disgust at the unconscious girl. If only she would've stayed away from him she wouldn't be in this position. He spat on the floor before walking over to the girl and handcuffing her hands and feet to the cuffs.

Jinah stirred a bit as he started to walk away. He froze at the sound of her voice.

"Why are you doing this?" Jinah's voice came out strangled and hoarse. The man slowly turned around and walked back over to her, crouching down to maintain leveled eye contact with her. Jinah tried to make out his features, but her vision was too blurry to tell. The bad lighting not helping either.

"Because you took what belonged to someone else." He spoke with deep anger. Jinah cringed at the unbearable smell coming off the man. He smells as if he hasn't washed in weeks.

"What?" Jinah spoke in confusion. What possibly could she have taken, she thought as she leaned backward to maintain distance between her and her captor. He stood up and walked to the door before speaking again.

"Don't worry. We have plans for you," And with those final words, the door slammed close with so much force that it shook the walls that encased the terrified girl.

Jinah stared around the room and visibly shuttered in disgust. Bringing her knees to her chest, she hugs them for comfort. She reaches for her phone in her back pocket, but he must have taken it from her while she was unconscious. She should've known that he wouldn't have left it with her.

Jinah placed her back against the wall and picked at her chipped nail polish. Her thoughts a scrambled mess. "I'm sure they know by now that I'm missing.", "Do they think I ran away?", "Maybe my captor is asking for a ransom?", "Who's gonna pay for it though?", "What did I take that belonged to someone else?", "Why me?". Her thoughts already causing a massive headache to take place in the front part of her head. Closing her eyes, Jinah zoned out of reality.

The door swings open abruptly and startles awake Jinah who had fallen asleep out of exhaustion. Jinah pushed herself up against the wall to gain as much distance as possible. Two figures enter the room. One places a chair while the other one takes a seat. Jinah squints her eyes enough to take the figure in as a woman and not a man like before.

A buzzing comes from above before a light flicks on. Jinah brings her hands up to shield her eyes from the harsh light. Once her eyes adjusted enough to not hurt from the light rays. She looked at the woman sitting in the chair with a victorious smirk. Jinah's eyes widen as she recognizes the woman. Her jaw slacks as she moves her eyes on the man placed by the door. He's older and more rugged than what she remembered him to be. But why are they doing this to me? Why would they kidnap me? Jinah's thoughts again scrambling her mind.
