"Did I say you could stop, Kitten?" He whispers in my ear from behind.
"Uh. No. Sorry, Mr. Choi." I whisper out.
"Kitten, stop apologizing. Just do as you're told." He de...

"I'm pretty sure you already know why, Mark," I emphasize on his name. He awkwardly smiles at me and nods. I chuckle before gesturing for him to come. "Let us go. My boss is waiting," He grabs a few papers from his desk before following me.
Mark and I caught up a little as we made our way to the conference room where Yeonjun is waiting. We decided to have lunch after the meeting. When I asked Yeonjun earlier, he said that we didn't have anything else scheduled for today except for this meeting. As Mark is about to reach for the handle of the conference room. I grab his arm. He turns and looks at me confused.
"Pretend I yelled at you and said all sorts of ugly words to you. I said something about how I was gonna tell you off. But when it came for the time I was too lazy to actually do so." He blinks at me. He eventually nods and turns back to the door and pushes it open.
Yeonjun stands up and bows respectfully to Mark. Mark follows suit before finding a seat across from Yeonjun. I sit next to Yeonjun and flip out my notepad. I listen as they talk about business-related things. An hour passes and the meeting finishes. Mark and Yeonjun shake hands. We all make our way out of the conference room. Mark turns to me and smiles.
"You wanna go now?" He asks. I look down at my watch, 1:20 PM. I look up and nod. "Mr. Choi, would like you to join Jinah and me for lunch?" I turn and look at Yeonjun and see if he'll answer him. He glances between us a few times before shaking his head. My eyebrows shoot up in shock. I quickly recover before anyone notices my obvious shock.
"I got some calls to make back to Korea. So I'll be busy. But you two have fun!" He smiles. I squint my eyes at him to make ensure this is still the same Choi Yeonjun that I work for. He catches my eyes and winks. I snap my head away from him. Yup. It is him. "Call me when you get back so I know you got back safely." I nod my head. Yeonjun waves goodbye before leaving.

We order our food from Rusties Foods before taking a seat and waiting for our numbers to be called. Mark smiles at me innocently. I tilt my head and stare at him confused before it clicks.
"Just ask, Mark, before I hit you over the head with my bag." He chuckles before leaning his elbows on the table.
"So... do you like him?" I look up at him shocked.
"Who?" He rolls his eyes before speaking again.
"Your. Boss. Mr. Choi. Do. You. Like. Him?" He stops after each word to emphasize his question. I sigh.
"Yeah," I whisper. He sighs.
"Okay. I support this little thing you two have going on. But just be careful. Yeonjun is a very powerful and successful person. A lot of people hate, despise, and love him. They would do anything to get to him. So please be careful." I nod my head at Mark's words. Taking them into some serious consideration. He's right though. Yeonjun does have people of all sorts either trying to ruin him, be him, or be with him. I have to keep my eyes open and always keep a lookout if our relationship becomes anything more.
