"Did I say you could stop, Kitten?" He whispers in my ear from behind.
"Uh. No. Sorry, Mr. Choi." I whisper out.
"Kitten, stop apologizing. Just do as you're told." He de...

I set the papers on Yeonjun's desk. Taking a seat back at my little desk. I start sorting once again. This isn't exactly the position I want to be in. But It'll do for now until I can get a job on the designing floor.
Yeonjun hasn't said much today. He's been focusing a lot of his time on trying to figure out where the missing money has gone. Apparently, the management team stumbled across several money transactions that have been added into an account that they are unable to trace. I guess the amount that was missing is the exact amount that went out into that account.
He's had a scowl on his face the entire day. The only words out of his mouth were angry words to some people. He apologized to me for his behavior numerous times. I told him it was fine cause he wasn't doing anything wrong. I understand that the recent problems are causing him a lot of money and tons of headaches. I just feel bad that I can't do much to help him. My abilities only go so far.
The clock hits nine as I stand up and stretch my sore arms and back. A yawn escapes my mouth. I give Yeonjun a quick bow and a smile.
"Kitten?" His voice comes out tired. I hum with a nod. "We'll be heading to America on Saturday. I have business-related issues to take care of. We'll be staying for about a week." I bow again before leaving out of the door.
I make sure I have everything as I walk down the hallway. I look up and notice Miss Do sitting behind the desk with a glare directed at me. I sigh. I seriously don't know what I did to peeve her off. I think back to all of our interactions... Nothing. All she has done is send me dirty looks. I'm just gonna confront her.
I walk up to her desk without missing a single step. I smile brightly at her. Be nice, Jinah. Be nice. She looks at me confused.
"Can I help you?" She asks bitterly. I shake my head.
"Just wanted to see how you've been," I say. Her eyes widen. She scratches her head out of awkwardness. Don't you dare back down now, Jinah?
"Uh. Good, I guess... And you?" She asks unsurely. I shrug.
"Could be better." I sigh. "Anyways. Have a good night, Misuk." I smile before turning away. Not before I catch the startled look on her face.

I say a quick goodbye to Nayeon and Sana as we split ways. I'm exhausted and all I wanna do is run a bath for myself then go to sleep. My ankles ache in these unbearable heels. After about 10 minutes of walking. I stop and rub my ankles.
"You okay, Jinah?" My head whips around to find the owner of the voice. My body tense until I see his face. I smile softly.
"Yeah. It's just heels are a pain to wear." I chuckle. He lets out an 'oof' when he sees my bleeding heels. "But I wasn't aware you live this way, Minghao." He nods his head. He points up at the rather nice-looking apartment building.
