1 - She's Back

Narrator Pov

The Headmaster banged his silver spoon against his goblet lightly but hard enough to be heard throughout the hall which caught the attention of everyone in the hall. He stood from his seat as the students stared at their Headmaster wondering why he wanted to talk half way through dinner since he would usually give any announcements during breakfast. He stared a little longer at the wizards and witches before he spoke.

" I would like to announce that we have someone coming to Hogwarts to join us once again" Whispers broke out between students wondering why would someone be coming mid first term and who that mystery person was.

Some were saying it was Cedric coming back from the dead or others saying it was Professor Lupin, one even said it was Quirrle coming back for Harry but obviously that wasn't a very good guess.

" Silence " The Headmaster roared to his students obviously frustrated that they wouldn't let him finish.

" I want everyone of you to treat her with respect and make her feel once again at home." Once again, once he said her everyone mostly the boys broke out into whispers which were quite frankly not so much of whispers.

They bet within each other wether the new comer was hot or not. Galleons were placed on the tables ready to see who was right and who was wrong.

" Everyone welcome back Cassiopeia" As that word rolled off the Headmasters tongue the hall broke off into chatter for what seemed the millionth time to the Headmaster which he only rolled his eyes.

Everyone remembered Cassiopeia wether you liked her or not you knew exactly who she was. She was a part of the Golden Quartet which included Harry , Ron , Hermione and Cassiopeia. She was absolutely breathtaking. Some even thought she was a veela which was not true but she seemed to catch everyone attention mostly boys much the the other girls dismay.

The most cheers came from the Gryffindor table which was her house. Some even said she should've been a Hufflepuff because of how kind and loyal she was to everyone but then everyone realized she did belong to Griffindor during second year when she and Harry helped Ginny out the chamber of secrets.
The Headmaster was happy that his students were happy for the return of their classmate but he didn't know how they would react after they heard her new last name.

"As i was saying welcome back Cassiopeia Riddle"
Gasps spread throughout the whole hall. That must be another Cassiopeia, Cass ( as people called her ) was an Emerys and she was surely not related to the Dark Lord.

She was too nice and he obviously is not. No gentle beautiful kind girl like Cassiopeia would come from a cruel , cold hearted monster like Voldemort himself.

When the doors open to the hall there she stood eyeing everyone as they all became mute. They were all trying to process this because in fact the Cassiopeia Emerys they all knew and loved was now Cassiopeia Riddle.

A smirk formed on her face as she walked down the hall eyeing everyone. Her eyes got caught on three certain people. Her old friends which were now the Golden Trio. She smirked at them a little more before heading to the table. The Headmaster had asker her if she wanted to be sorted again so she did. She got put into Slytherin the moment the hat touched her head. She knew her father would be proud. He would have had a heart attack if she got back into Gryffindor
