11 - Theo

The morning came in the blink of an eye. I woke up with my head on Theos lap who he was leaning his head on Pansy. Blaise was the only smart one who got up and went to the couch. My hand was wrapped around an empty bottle of fire whiskey. My head was throbbing merlin i don't remember half the things that happen. I felt Theo start to move so i got up from his lap

" Merlin Cass your head weighs a shit ton" Theo whined as he stretched his arms and neck. " That's because i have a big brain compared to yours" I replied with sass as i smirked at him.

" Oh yeah Cassiopeia you are going to pay for that" He got up and started to chase me around i stopped until he was close to catch me and i apperated to the other side. He looked at me and smirked running to catch me again.

" Are you done flirting it's pathetic really the way you guys flirt makes me want to turn my stomach" We both stopped and cringed at the words that had left the blondes mouth.

" That's disgusting Malfoy" Theo shivered at the thought of him and i which i did too. I see Theo as a brotherly figure that would be absolutely disgusting.

" But - if you are jealous you could've just said that my dear friend" Malfoy scoffed with a look of disgust at what Theo had just said.

" Please Malfoy don't ruin this lovely Saturday morning we have a major hung over to listen to your rubbish - i love you mate but you need to stop being so up tight" Blaise groaned from the couch as he held his head that was probably hurting as much as our where. Pansy was still out completely unfazed by the sounds surrounding her.

For the first time i had a good sleep no nightmares, no screams, just a dreamless peaceful sleep.

Soon a group of 7th years came down their dormitories and sat on the empty couches. " Did you guys hear that De Los Reyes was found nearly dead on the 5th floor. People say he was cursed with an unforgivable due to the state his body looked in. Pomfrey freaked when she saw the state he was in."

A smirk plastered on my face that bastard should've known better. Theo looked at my smirk as i listen to the boys conversation of a half dead Damon found.

" Cass you didn't have to do anything with that did you?" He asked with a bit of worry in his tone. " That's something for me to know and for you to find out" He rolled his eyes he knew i had something to do with it but he was finally warming up to my behavior.

" So when are you going to teach me all your cool tricks" Theo said as we walked through the corridors on our way to the three broomsticks.

" Oh Theo trust me it's not easy first you have to beat a big 7 headed monster and then you have to swim through a lake full of monsters" He looked at me like i was crazy trying to see if i was joking or not.

" You know i thought by now you would have killed half the school and had my head but you aren't what people say i just think you are misunderstood and judged too quickly" I raised an eyebrow at him completely taken back from his words. Everyone has seen me as a monster or the cursed child never as a normal person. I mean is a girl who had the dark lord as her father and had her humanity taken away isn't a normal person.

" Very taken back from your words Theodore Nott but thank you" He smiled at me and opened the door to the shop. I really did consider Theo my best friend he never seemed to be intimidated by me or scared. Him and Pansy always tried to see the best in me which i appreciated dearly everyone always focused on the bad but they were different.

" When's your birthday" He asked as he brought two butter beers and placed them on the table. I cringed at his question i didn't necessarily like my birthday that's when i killed - violet.

" Uh october 31st i'm not fond of my birthday so i don't celebrate it." His mouth hung open slightly.

" Well this year you are my dear friend we are having a Halloween ball this year so we can celebrate it there." I took a sip of my drink " Uh i think i'll pass haven't had the best experiences with my birthday"
I knew he would take no for an answer but i really don't even intend on leaving my room that day.

" None sense you are going with me and you know what i'll be your date obviously as friend wouldn't want your ego to grow any bigger." He quoted what i had said to him the other night. I shook my head laughing lightly " Fine Theodore" I knew he hated his full name he said it reminded him of some old cranky profesor. " Okay Onxy" I gasped at him saying my middle name.

" Watch it Theodore don't want to end up found in a hallway" That made him go quiet before he laughed loudly catching the attention of everyone in the place.

" That my dear Cass is why you are my best friend don't tell the other they would get jealous of you having Theodore Nott as your best friend."

I laughed at the boy in front of me he was a very intimidating boy if you didn't know him but was honestly the person everyone needed in their life. He made me genuinely smile and laugh and that's a very rare sight. He was my best friend and i planned to keep him as that for as long as possible.

" My dear Theo you are also my best friend" He smiled and lifted his cup

" Cheers"

Our cups smashed together lightly making a small noice as we pulled away taking a drink of our butter beer.
