32 - Spark

" Go on" I ushered him to open the cabinet door as the others were already waiting on the other side. He nodded and turned the handle slowly.

A loud noise erupted from inside the cabinet making us back up. The noice stopped when Bellatrix, Greyback, and De Los Reyes came out. Bella like always had a smile on her face excited to trash the place.

" You are only here to aid if someone tries to stop us, don't go after anyone. Got it" I warned them, i didn't necessarily like the idea of killing first years.

My heart has slowly turned less cold. I could still kill but it would leave a pit full feeling in my stomach.

" Oh come on Cassiopeia i'm hungry the moon is full" Greyback complained. I narrowed my eyes at him.

" You will listen to me Greyback only kill when you are told, you will be the one dead on the floor if i see you killing someone you weren't told to" I warned him and turned to the others who nodded.

" Draco lead them" I had to make sure the group was safe. I would go ballistic if one of them got killed.

" Come on" Draco guided them out with wands in their hands. They better obey my rules.

I ran out the room of requirements to the dungeons. My breath was gone by the time i reach the portrait but i had to warn them. They were all huddled together in the common room laughing and drinking.

" All of you in my dorm, now" I hurried them into my room making sure they were all there.

" You need to stay here until i come back, maybe late at night today or tomorrow morning but don't leave this room under any circumstances" I told them as i set up a ward around my room.

" What's going on" Pansy questioned from the corner of m room with an arm around Damon, i guess they did work.

" You'll hear soon, Damon you know why take care of them. If a single scratch is on their body i will have you six feet under" My adrenaline was rushing, we were the spark of the war. We had turned on the match.

" I'll see you all soon" I told them before leaving the room.

" Be safe Cass" Luna said in her usual happy tone, that girl was too sweet for her own good.

I rushed down putting up wards in the common room portrait to not let anyone in or out. I mostly did it for the first years they had much to live for, they didn't deserve to be seeing the masacre that was going on in the grounds of the school they called their home.

Screams filled the corridors as i ran towards the Astronomy tower. Those scums didn't listen. Rubble could be heard crashing down to the floor. Dust filled the corridors making it hard to see.

" You filthy mud blood who do you think you are" I heard from the end of the corridor, Bellatrix.

" Enough Bellatrix" I yelled at her standing behind her.

" Don't tell you care for these filthy mud bloods" Her wand twirling in her hand as she teased me.

" Just as much as i care for you Bellatrix" I replied meaning i didn't give a single fuck, she frowned and shot the two second years towards the wall.

" You dare to disobey me Bella, you better start praying to be able to see another day when we get out of her" I yanked her hand and lead her towards the Astronomy Tower.

" I don't want your help or else he's going to kill me" I heard a sob from the top, Draco had Dumbledore.

I hurried up the stairs finding Draco with his wand shakily pointed towards his headmaster of 7 years. Dumbledore had no wand in sight he was completely defenseless.

" Good job Draco" Bella whispered in his ear as he stared with pure agony and fear at Dumbledore, he wasn't going to be able to do it.

" Cassiopeia, i knew your father years ago he was just a student like you are here, let me help you how he didn't let me help him. Let me lead you to the right path" His voice was fragile, he didn't have much energy anymore. His hands were black he was slowly dissolving.

" No one can help me, it was your fault i am here in the first place. You ignored my pleas and let me get taken away. I am who i am today because of you" I sneered at him remembering myself on my knees begging him to not let me go, he let me go.

" Do it Draco" Bella yelled at him making him flinch.

" No" We heard from behind us, Snape came hurriedly pushing Draco away and pointing his wand at Dumbledore.

" Severus please" Dumbledore begged him for mercy.

Snape's wand raised higher before shooting the killing spell making him fall of the tower. His hair and beard trailed in front of him as he fell. The same look of mercy stayed on his face as he fell.

" Go" I grabbed Draco yanking him down the stairs out of the school grounds. His hand clasped with mine tightly as he was still shaking.

His breathing was fast as his face palled as we sped walked through the corridors. " It's okay Draco we are getting out of here" I said soothing words to him trying to calm him down.

We had our war towards the forbidden forest where we would be able to apperate. Bella's laugh echoed through the dead silent grounds. Her wand pointed towards Hagrid's hut before bursting it into flames. That made Draco frighten more. He was just a boy who had taken a place in the killing of the only hope the wizarding world had.

I didn't wait any longer before grabbing his hand and apperating us away from Hogwarts. The only safe place for us would become the headquarters for torture. We were completely fucked.

The small flame of hope we had, had been blown out leaving us in complete darkness.

I'm planning my next story it's going to be a Bridgerton inspired but won't follow the story line of the show or any plot of the harry potter movies or books. No voldy or war will be included.
