17 - Back home

Last day at Hogwarts i had survived my first year back. I knew this summer was going to change everything and i think everyone felt that way as well. The times only got darker never lighter. Everyone now knew that Voldemort was back and was ready to start his reign of power. Everyone was always jumpy and watching their surrounding.

Everyone stared at me scared everyone would stare out a respect but now it's all fear. The daughter of the monster they fear the most is walking on the sound ground as them of course they are going to be scared.

I knew after i left the train home would be hell once again. I knew father would be more strict with training Leo and I. He had been recruiting all the old death eaters and new ones. Many have been marked some are yet to be marked such as Draco Malfoy. I knew father was absolutely pissed at Lucius and De Los Reyes for their failure. They were rotting in Azkaban but i knew father needed them. They were among the best pure blood families he wouldn't let such high allies go.

The train ride went slow everyone felt the mood shift once the prophet had released the news of the feared dark lords return to power. The Ministry would try to cover up as much information as possible to not alarm the people more but it was useless. People found out one way or another.

I was a big target for the Ministry. The daughter of the dark lord in Hogwarts grounds walking freely was something that would set of alarms. I knew i would be watched when i came back more than i did. I knew people would be waiting for any sort of communication i had with my father so they could also send me to Azkaban.

The train slowed down as the station came in sight. Once it came to a complete stop student can up to their parents hugging them which was honestly much needed. I saw Leo standing at the platform his hands shoved into his pockets as he glared at the people trying to avoid being 6 feet near him. Leo was also a target probably a bigger one than i was.

With my luggage in hand i walked over to him. He looked down at me and took my luggage from my hand " The manor is being watched so we had to move to the Malfoy Manor father is waiting for your return remember block out everything"

He grabbed my arm and before i knew it we were standing in front of Malfoy Manor. The place was huge it had 8 floors i thought this big of a house was useless for a family of 3. The air seemed thick and the weather was gloomy and grey. The house doors opened Leo went in first and i trailed behind him. I closed my eyes and blocked everything out.

" Ah my daughter nice to see you again it's been a while" He stood there sitting at the end of the table with Nagini at his side.

I've always hated that damm snake it was a snitch. I once tried to go into fathers office to explore and she snitched on me. She was also hideous but i mean so was her owner she was much better in person form but she had to get a life curse of being a snake for the rest of her pathetic life.

" Hello father" I looked him in the eye and nodded slightly at him. " I do have some things i would like to talk to you let's go to the office don't want anyone overhearing" He looked directly at some death eaters who were drinking in the corner.

Father was not one to trust nor did he trust easily. Those might have been his followers but he never liked to take risk. The only person he seemed to really trust was that snake.

I followed him to the office he was in front and Nagini was by my side " Ive seen you got uglier Nagini" I was a fluent parselmouth she went to bite me but i moved out the way making her hit a vase that shattered. She hissed at me before going to my fathers side probably to complain about me. That snake was really testing my nerves.

Father opened the door and led me inside his office which was actually Lucius's. I sat down i front as his snake circled around me like i was his dinner.
