14 - Love ?

" Theo did you really have to bring 15 dresses one would've been fine" I whined as i tried on the third dress which with no surprise he didn't like. The first one he said i looked like his great grandma the second one he said i looked like a bird and now this one he said i looked like a widow.

After the 10th dress i was completely fatigued. None of them Theo liked according to him if  i was going to be his date then i needed to have the best dress. "Zabini is supposed to have the best taste in fashion and looks at these rags" He picked up a dress which was absolutely hideous i even cringed thinking about ever wearing that. " I have one dress that Narcissa gave me" he threw the dress that was in his hand to the other side of the room " Let me pray that's it better than these"

I went over to the wardrobe and took out a floor length sage green silk dress that had a slit on each thigh. " That's the one and it'll match prefect with my robe, let's see try it on" i rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom to put it on i swear if he didn't like it then i would simply not go and i was absolutely not trying on anymore of the ones that's Blaise brought.

I walked out and Theo's mouth was gaped open, "You look beautiful if you weren't my best friend i'd total hit" I threw him my pillow hitting him in the chest. He laughed and grabbed my hand making me twirl. " Thank Merlin for Cissa i need to send that woman flower"

" Thanks to her you'll have the hottest date" I winked at him and went back to the bathroom to get out the dress. " Oh i will !" He yelled from outside the room. We quickly picked up the dresses so we could give them back to Blaise.

Theo left to the Ravenclaw tower like he did every Thursday night. I grabbed the dresses and went to the boys dormitory to give them back. I knocked on the door it was opened by Goyle he then looked back and yelled at the boys " Oi Riddles here" He moved aside and let me in. The room was an absolute mess it was disgusting. I looked around and saw them in a circle playing wizarding chess. It was Blaise versus Draco.

" I brought the dresses Blaise i didn't need any i'm using the dress Cissa gave me" I told him which he nodded and went back to concentrating on the game. I sat next to him and looked at his pieces " Can i help him" I asked the boys which they nodded at. I told the piece where to go which knocked out one of Draco's. We continued playing and i ended up winning it for Blaise which earned me a high five and a joint.

" You excited for your birthday Cass" Blaise asked me which i huffed in response " Totally that day is full of event. My father instead of seeing his daughter be born went out to kill the Potters - didn't do a great job on that" I decided to keep out the killing part. It not that i didn't trust Blaise i did he showed me loyalty and never made me regret giving him it but i didn't trust Malfoy, Crabbe or Goyle.

" That's - depressing" I chuckled a little at his comment it was depressing but what isn't depressing in being related to the dark lord mostly being his daughter and second heir.

" Theo forced me to be his date - as friend obviously- he said we are the hottest in our year and it would only be right for the two hottest people to go together and make the ultimate duo" I mocked Theo's voice which Blaise laughed at and i heard Malfoy snicker a bit.

I looked over at Crabbe and Goyle who were in their own world talking about girls - as if they could get any. They sounded oddly familiar to me their last names were mentioned somewhere. " Oi you two !" They turned their heads to look at me waiting for me to talk " Your parents work for my father" They paled instantly and looking at Malfoy and Blaise who were confused " Y-Yeah our fathers do" One of them said i just nodded in reply. I hope father doesn't want those two they are only good for bullying little kids. What good would they be working with dark arts.

" Riddle don't you have patrol tonight" Draco said from his bed. This was the first time he had spoken to me since the library. " I do Umbridge has gotten more strict with patrolling that lady is probably more obsessed with Potter than my father is" Blaise laughed and nodded. She was really starting to get out of socket with her Ministry ruling. " She switched me to patrol with you maybe she doesn't trust you" he taunted me as if i cared. I had other things to worry about than Umbridge not liking me.

" Then let's go don't want her to not trust you either" I got up and hit Blaise i'm the back of his head as a sign of good bye. He rolled his eyes at me and yelled at Crabbe to go and play with him.

We had patrol over the whole school so we had to go through each floor. The tension between us was strong but he said that i drove him crazy and still acts like a total ass. When you "like" someone you try your best to get on their good side not want them to murder you.

" Why can't you love anymore" He asked out the blue " I'm cursed with an unbreakable curse" He looked like he was processing what i said " What if you can you know how they say love is stronger than anymore" I huffed in annoyance if i hadn't felt anything for the past two years how am i supposed to love someone

" Impossible and who am i supposed to love" he moved awkwardly having an inner fight with himself if she should say what he was thinking "Me" He responded bluntly but always the hint of nervousness didn't go unnoticed.

" Why you ?" How did he think i could ever love him even if i could i don't think i would. We were very different yet had so many similarities that it didn't seem like a bad idea but i knew Draco was toxic just by looking at him you could tell he's possessive.

" I don't know we are very similar we are in familiar homes you can't deny there is tension between us" Truthfully he spoke but i couldn't fathom the thought of us together of me feeling someone else then anger at him " That will never happen so drop it" I walked faster down the stairs to get to the 5th floor.

" I truly meant what i say in the astronomy tower and the library you are truly beautiful a beautiful mystery. I was such a dick to you because i wanted to feel superior but something about you drives me crazy. I can help me just let me" He opened his heart up to me and gave it to me in my hand but i couldn't take it i would not let myself after what i did to Violet i promised her the world but ended up taking hers. " No i will never feel anything for you or anyone i was made to serve my father not get caught with a boy i have no other reason to be here"

He needed to understand that i could never love him or anyone. He needs to understand that i am incapable of such thing as love. I could never love someone the way they love me. I was made from darkness and that is where i would stay

Filler and i hate it

My second book is going to be called when we meet again i'm debating if i should post it now and do two stories at a time or finish this one first so please help me.

This story is going to be around 40 -50 chapters btw
