24 - Back

I had went back to school two days after the incident. Narcissa took care of me for 3 whole days not letting me get up only to the bathroom. My body was sore but not as bad as it had been the first two days.

" Cissa i'll be fine i promise, i need to get back got to finish my stuff for father if i don't i don't think you'll be able to save me this time" I told her as she embraced me in front of the fire place.

" Please take care dear and take care of Draco that boy has gotten a liking in you" She said as she handed me the bag of floo powder.

" I will i'll protect him Cissa it's the best i could do after you saved my life" I stepped into the fireplace sending her a small smile as irrupted into green flames.

I found myself back at Snape's office where he sat but he wasn't alone.

" Where is she, she was supposed to go to dinner that's been 4 days ago" Draco yelled at Snape as i landed.

His face filled with worry as i stepped out the fire place.

" Cassiopeia i see you finally came back" Snape said as he got out his seat to stand.

" Seems like it, i'm going to my dormitory if you'll excuse us" I said as i pointed to Draco and i.

I dragged him out of Snape's office to the Slytherin common room.

" Where have you been Cassiopeia you left for 4 days without a simple notice even a good bye would've been sufficient enough" He interrogated me as we walked down the empty halls.

" I was at the Manor doing business okay i don't need to tell you where i'm at all the time i could take good care of myself" I walked away faster from him.

" I was worried Cassiopeia" He sighed as we made it to the entrance to the common room.

" Don't you have enough on your shoulders to worry about me i'm completely fine" I said lying to him, i almost had gotten murdered by my father.

" You look for fatigued them usually are you sure" He asked again and i just nodded.

I opened my dorm door and let him in. I sighed in content as i eyed my bed. I flopped down on my stomach letting out a sigh. I felt the bed sink next to me. I felt a hand around my waste pulling me but the hand was pressing into one of the wounds. I hissed but cut myself half way.

" Did that hurt" Draco said as he turned me around and propped himself onto his left elbow.

" No i'm fine just tired" I lied once again.

" Let me see your stomach" He commanded.

" I said i'm fine Draco drop it" I turned back around annoyed.

I know he cares about me but i don't know how to deal with all these emotions he gives me. It something i haven't had in a long time, it feels weird.

He grabbed my shit and lifted it slightly having a good look at three new scars on my stomach. I pulled my shirt out his grip and put it down.

" What happened Cassiopeia and don't say nothing these scars weren't there" He demanded for an answer.

" It was my father Draco but im fine aren't i, i'm here. I'm very tired now if you don't mind i'm going to sleep" I sunk my head into my pillow and closed my eyes.

" I was worried about you Cass you left for 4 days and you come back with this. I couldn't even focus on the damm cabinet. I thought you didn't come back because of me" He said as his fingers caressed my stomach.

I turned to face him and saw his face hung low like if he was embarrassed of me leaving him. I might not love him but i wouldn't leave him, not the person who is willing to fight for me.

" Draco, I don't plan on leaving you anytime soon i might not like you the way you like me but you haven't left me why would i leave you" Lifting his chin up and looking at him in the eye.

" Thank you" He dropped his head onto my forehead and placed a kiss on my lips.

" Now if we are done being sappy why don't we sleep and we can continue on the task" I said as i got cozy in his arms.

" Yeah, merlin knows we need rest" His arms hugged me tightly as if i was about to vanish into thin air.

I slowly dozed off into a slumber in Draco's arms. Soon we were both complete out in our dreams.

" Would you look at this Blaise" I heard a voice say near me.

I open my eyes and see Theo and Blaise both with smirks on their face as they looked at us sleeping. I quickly tried to get up but Draco's hands were tightly around me. I shoved his hand away and got up.

" Oh no need to hide Cassiopeia we've been here for a while actually" Blaise said he me and Theo laughed.

" Cassiopeia come back" Draco said half asleep not opening his eyes still oblivious of Theo and Blaise in the room.

They set off into a fit of laughter that actually woke up Draco. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but laugh with them. Draco shot out of bed quickly with flushed cheeks of embarrassment.

" Draco mate i see you've finally decided to tell her it was getting quite annoying how much you talked about Cassiopeia, Oh Cassiopeia this Cassiopeia that" Theo mocked Draco who was now red from ear to ear.

" Oh so you talk about me" I continued to tease Draco who only rolled his eyes.

"Let's get to dinner" Draco said as he shoved Blaise and Theo away and walked down towards the corridor.

" Seriously though he was obsessed with you i'm surprised he doesn't have your picture under his pillow" Blaise told me as Theo laughed.

" Blaise Zabini !" Draco yelled from down the hall making us all laugh.

We all headed down towards the hall almost falling in laughter as Draco only got redder.

This is the moments i wished last forever
