Stella's POV: a couple days ago Brett  and the new paramedic Mackey got held at gunpoint during one of their calls they were able to get their self and the victim out of there without being hurt. But sadly the victim didn't survive so gun gun man started to Hunt down Brett. Today they went on a call and they didn't come back as soon as  we all thought they would. So Casey decided to have truck 81 to go  look for them. I'm glad we did because we found them and the guy that was chasing after them was in an accident and both were flipped over nobody was hurt and we were able to get the gunman that has been hunting them to med to get checked out. Once we cleared the scene and made sure that Brett and Mackey we're OK we headed back to the fire house. I somehow was last one out of my turn out gear and kelly came walking up toward me to talk about what happen with the ambulance

K= he sounds like a crazy one
S= Brett and Mackey are lucky to be alive let alone unhurt
K= how bad was the rig
S= it was totaled I'm gonna go check on Brett but you are still good to help me set up those drills later yeah
K= sure yeah I already have em planned out
S= okay ( kiss him)

I go and try to find Brett to check on her but then I saw that Casey was checking in her so I went back to the truck to start to organize it . When Brett came up to me

S= so we just need to organize the....
SB= I basically just told Casey that I'm in love with him
S= what ?
SB= ( pull Stella into the turnout  room) I think my brain got mor rattled in that accident then I realize because I just blurted out " it's always been you"
S= well that could mean a lot of different things
SB= could it really
S= maybe you know what there is no need to panic here okay what is so wrong with him knowing how you feel that is how you feel right
SB= I can't feel that way
S= why not
SB= I jus... I just can't trust me I'm just gonna pretend that I didn't say what I said and then everything can go back to normal
S= is that really the healthiest
SB= I didn't say it okay
S= okay
SB= thank you

I guess I'll let Brett figure out what's going on with her and Casey, so I go back to doing what I was doing. A couple hours later me and Kelly set up a few drills for the girls and fire girls to do. The next morning the girls show up and we start going through the drills that I had set up

S= hurry up Yvette every second counts now this is the standard gab between drywall studs, you're gonna have to squeeze through that okay. Where is that hose? There you go there you go, now which way is up which way to the exit
All= bumps to the pump
S= Great keep going Yvette ( walks over to cheif ) what do you think severide help me put together a mayday drill
CB= I think you might just make firefighters out of these girls
S= That's the plan
CB= and how does that make you feel knowing this might be the future of the CFD
S= it feels pretty damn good chief
CB= yeah
S= yeah
CB= so can I help you need a hand
S= sure
CB= okay
S= yeah yeah you can help me replace the drywall
CB= okay
S= there's one disappointment my best recruit  Kylie she's a no-show  I mean this program when it is is if she hadn't roped her friends into it now she won't return my calls or my text
CB= what do you think that's about
S= I don't know
CB= sounds like you're giving up that's not the Stella Kidd I know

The girls finish the drills and they all go. After I clean up I think about what the chief told me and I decide to and investigate a little more into finding Kylie. Luckily for me I found her address and her parents told me where to find her so I go wait for her outside her work

KY= Stella what are you doing now
S= well I went to your place and your mom told me where to find you bet you get some nice perks working at this place huh
KY= all the day older and I can eat because the fashion forward apron
S= ah slick
KY= right um I'm sorry that I didn't call
S= oh no worries no I just look I just wanted you to know that I would love to have you back I mean you are mine G.O.F superstar
KY= I really appreciate that but uh my parents are struggling even before Covid then my dad lost his job when things shut down so I'm just helping out the best I can you know between this in school it doesn't leave me anytime
S= I get it but that's the great Thing about this program I mean it's set you up for the future it put you on track for the CFD and you know what you want if you can't do it right now just know that the Coke and will be there for you whenever you're ready
KY= oh maybe next summer one schools out hopefully I want to work then
S= yeah
KY= I better get back inside
S= of course here uh stay in touch okay Kylie
KY= I will

I feel so bad for Kylie I hope something changes for her soon because she loves the girls on fire program. The next day on shift I woke up to the front of the fire House seeing that Gallo  is trying to figure something out to help the chief out

S= how's it going Gallo
BG= can you not I'm trying .,,, ugh I lost count
S= whoa sorry I was just offering a friendly hello will not happening again
BG= no sorry It's just Ritter supposed to be doing this but Herman took engine out to gas up and now I'm stuck trying to collect all these packets ASAP before Boden flays me
MC=  Gallo can you give me and severide a  hand out here
BG= yeah sure just give me five minutes
MC= what
BG= i'm just in the middle of you  know
MC=  Gallo I'm not asking for a favor I'm giving you an order get out here

Gallo gets up and helps Casey and severide and when he does it gives me an idea on how I can help Kylie and help Boden at the same time so I go and see Boden to tell him about my idea

S= morning Cheif
CB= Kidd
S= how's it working out with Gallo and Ritter picking up slack in the bullpen
CB= they are painfully slow in minimally competent but it's better than letting the paperwork pile up until I disappear under a landslide of time sheets and case reports why
S= well what if I told you I could solve that problem for you

I tell him idea and he likes it then gives me the okay to go and tell Kylie the good news so I wait for her outside for work again

S= hey
KY = can't stay away from donuts can you
S= you really get me question for you how do you feel about making copies answering phones and filling out paperwork
KY= can it be any worse than cleaning out a deep fryer why
S= well my chief just got approval to hire a part-time assistant now the  fire house doesn't smell nearly as good as a donut shop. But the pay is a little better and you would get an inside look at the world of fire fighting, invest of all we would make sure that you have time for girls on fire
KY= wait are you seriously offering me a job
S= yes and you don't have to answer right away you can...

Before I can finish talking she hugs me and then tells me she is taking the job. I am so happy I figure something out that would work for her and the firehouse we talk about what her job would require in a tell her when she could start. Now I got all my girls on fire girls back  together

Authors note:  just my opinion but I think I need to be more Stellaride moments in this episode. The only thing that I wish would've happened would be when Matt and Kelly got the ambulance door back on the ambulance and they were talking about Leslie Shay I wish that Stella was out there to hear about her. .Also sorry I took forever to write this part. the next part should be out tomorrow
