A proud moment

Stella's pov: the past two months have been going good about a month ago me and Kelly helped Mended a relationship with a teenage girl and her mother it felt nice to save a mother and daughter relationship about two and half weeks ago I help Kelly solve an arson case it was totally fun to work a case with Kelly and not have him do it by himself or even watch him and Seager go and solve a crime together, for the past week and half I've been working hard with my girls on fire group of girls because in the next couple days one of them  is going to be graduating from the fire academy which is so exciting right now we are running some drills at the fire house

S= I see you Kylie get that foot behind the line
MJ= all right first to open up their nozzle and knock ballerina off her Thorne wins stay low and keep your weight forward ready set go
GFG= all right yeah let's go
K= look like lieutenant car's course minus the ball
S= yeah Macey set it up so she must have gotten it from his class Jess is holding her hose too high
MJ= hold the hose tight to your body weight forward
S= making my job easy thanks babe ( Kylie wins )
MJ= we have a winner
S= all right everyone bring it in bring it in bring it in bring it in bring it in all right how do we think she did because I think Macy's ready to be the newest firefighter in the CFD ( all cheer) listen when I started this program I thought maybe someday I'd see one of you go all the way through the academy and it's crazy that the day is already here our first girls on fire grad I'm so frickin proud of you all right graduation 11:00 am Saturday at the fire academy I expect to see every single one of you there all right now get out of here before your late for home room  go go go great job
CB= congratulation are in order for you too you know this is a great achievement

I get the stuff clean up before our first call comes in the first calls is a risky one but we got the victim our now back at the firehouse

SC= Gallo sorry about that rouge suv back there you good
M= yeah that bottle went after you like a missile
BG= yeah no sweat nobody's fault I'm good
SC= I won't loose control of the scene again lieutenant that's a promise
S= what was the distraction there was that guy giving you trouble
SC= me , the medic  guy just seemed to have a beef with first responders 
S= was he involved in the accident
SC= I don't think so
M= so he just stopped by to offer his critique of our work
S= huh weirdo  of  the week

The rest of the shift was pretty Calm so that was good now it's Saturday  the day of the graduation of Macy

S= all right all right one two wait where is Lucy I don't see here oh there we go all right ( take picture)
MJ= wait lieutenant you got to be in this mom can you take one for us
MM= sure
S= thank you all right
MM= okay one tow three ( picture is taken )
S= thank you
MM= lieutenant Kidd
S= yes hi you're Macy mom right so good to meet you , your daughter she's amazing
MM= she is and she's everything to me do you have kids
S= I don't no
MM= then you might not understand this but I'll say it anyways these days every time I hear a siren I think that is going to be Macy risking her life all because of a flyer she saw in our neighborhood three years ago you put there right
S= yes ma'am
MM= if anything happens to her I lose my daughter just know that's on you

Once Macy mom said that to me she walked away and it took me by surprise by what she said  for the next couple hours I just celebrated my first grad of the the girls on fire program  later on I head to Mollys for my shift

S= hey
H= hey
S= I'm sorry I'm late post Graduation celebrations
H= no worries
K= how'd it go
S= graduation was great I met Macy mom she's not too happy with me she says I'd anything happens to Macy I'm the one to blame and that's just that's got me thinking about Kylie and all the other girls and
K= we can't control what happens on the job that's why I'm so tough on my cadets so they're ready when things get ugly
S= yes but your cadets came to you I recruited these girls into girls on fire and I did it to inspire and empower them but Macy's mom isn't wrong I'm putting them in track for a where their lives are on the line
K= it's the best job in the world you're giving them the ability to be part of it you have inspired and empowered them the rest is our if your hands

I think about what Kelly is telling me and also what Macy mom told me the next day on shift me and Kylie are studying since she will be taking the Text here soon

S= 25% left in the tank how many minutes of air is that
KY= working fire at rest seven
S= great what is the collapse radius for a fire story building
KY= that is not in that flash card deck
S= it's so important
KY= 60 feet
S= 90 Kaillie you got to know this stuff inside and out and if you don't, you don't have to take the exam in six months
KY= hold on what
S= there is no rush you know
KY= I'm confused we always said I would take it when I turn 21
S= I know but maybe you don't take it right away you have so much time and you couldn't explore all your options
KY= my options. Wait, do you think I'm not ready?
S= I think there's no harm in waiting that's all just think about it

I leave Kylie with that and go and do some paperwork then we go on another call about a couple hours later I'm in my office doing some more paperwork when a knock comes at the door

DR= hey Lieutenant
S= hey
DR= you got a second
S= of course. Yeah what's up
DR= if I'm outta line just tell me but I heard you cuisine Kylie this morning and it reminded me of when I was fresh out of the Academy. Have I told you much about my parents
S= I don't think so no
DR= well they didn't want me to go to the Academy they thought I'd get myself hurt. I remember my mom saying." Leave all that to the real men."
S= seriously
DR= yeah we had our issues to say the least so I had to show them that I could be as tough as my uncle Anthony the fire fighter. I studied hard. I worked my ass off in the gym and graduated but their words they stuck and the Dow kept creeping in. That's why mouch found me in that stairwell person.
S= and I just put that seed of doubt and Kylie's mind
DR= my uncle was my hero in hero is you  what you think means a lot
S= hey, I hope your parents know now you're a hell of a fire fighter
DR= thanks to be in here. I don't really worry about what they think anymore I know I am Lieutenant.
S= thank you Ritter
DR= yeah

I am so glad Ritter came to me about his concerns. He opened my eyes about how I was acting toward Kylie so once I got done with my paperwork, I go and try to find her.

S= hey have you guys seen Kylie?
V= I think she just went to the commissary. She should be back soon.
CB= uh hey police called they got the name of our heckler edger Weston on a hunch, I checked the name against our call logs, and it looks like his father died at the wedding fire that we responded to a while back
S= the tent fire the guy that mouch me pulled out
V= yeah I remember him he had some of the worst burns I've ever seen
SC= so this Edgar isn't just some random crazy
SB= he's coming after us because he blames us for his father's death
CB= this man, his son he's obviously going through something that is driven by that loss
K= cops arrest him
CB= no he hasn't done anything illegal yet, so if he shows up again, we keep our distance let the police handle it
BG= you got it cheif

Everybody agrees and then I see Kylie, so I go and say sorry to her

S= hey ( grabs a box)
KY= you don't you don't have to do that
S= hey it's no problem. I owe you an apology. You are more than ready for that entrance exam. If you could take it tomorrow I'd tell you to do it.
KY= but you said that
S= I was doing a lot of over thinking you may have noticed it's a small problem I have
KY= no way
S= listen just know this the more I care of the more I overthink

I'm glad Kylie didn't take my comment too hard about 20 more minutes later the hacker comes back to cause more trouble but luckily Violet decided to connect  with him over the loss of someone that each of them have lost and it helped  because he backed off after shift. Me and Kelly drove to the fire house where Macy will be joining soon.

S= so this guy yelling at us and all I'm thinking is it just like Macy's mom like all of us really if there's someone to blame you could be angry instead of sad angry is easier
K= Lieutenant Morgan
LM= two big shot, Lieutenant, visiting my fire house at the same time
K= how's it going? Morgan
S= hey
LM= pretty damn good too. What do I owe this pleasure
S= hey you got a new fire fighter joining next shift Macy Vasquez will you keep an eye on her for me she's one of my girls
LM= you bet

Me and Kelly just head home after Lieutenant Morgan agrees to look after the Macy for me. I'm glad that I came around and realize that I shouldn't feel so bad about wanting to have female be in a job like this cause it's great,

Authors note ; I hope you like this chapter sorry I was late again one thing I didn't add in. This whole thing was the whole accident scene and stuff like that but during this whole episode, there was two or three hints about maybe Kelly and Stella having a kid please let that happens or who else agrees.
