"Woah sir. I-isn't that a little too drastic?" I stammered, watching Mr Seokjin watch me with big doe eyes. I wasn't fond of the idea. I barely knew him. We barely knew him and now he wants to adopt us.

Strange man strange man.

"Actually I've been wanting kids since I was 25." Mr Seokjin said, Jungkook's eyes widening, along with my own. "You don't look a day over 20, mister." Jungkook honestly commented.

The man pointed at Kook.

"I know I'm not supposed to be picking favorites but-"

"You won't have to worry about loving us equally, because we don't accept the offer to be your little kiddies." Taehyung interrupted Mr Seokjin, much to his surprise.

But instead of scolding Tae like I thought he would, the man just smirked, now pointing at Taehyung.

"My husband would hate liking you." He laughed softly, much to Taehyung's disgust. I needed to think about the pros and cons of this offer.

The pro side, we would have a roof over our heads. Food on the table. Access to clean water. And by the looks of this man and his vehicle, he must have quiet the living space.

The con side, he might be some pedophile that keeps kids locked in his basement.

But while I was busy weighing the pros and cons, Taehyung was busy standing his ground.

"How would you even adopt us? We aren't in foster care?"

"I have connections." Mr Seokjin said.

"You don't even know us." Taehyung countered.

"I know you are all pretty well by now actually. Jimin is strategic, thinks things through before he jumps into them. Like now. He is probably weighing out the pros and cons as we speak. But his care for you two must make him think more irrationally, hence why he just jumped in to save Jungkook." The man said.

Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Bro thinks he's an observant god or something."

But Mr Seokjin didnt stop there.

"Now for Jungkook. He's still innocent minded. But he can tell the difference between right and wrong. He's willing to fight for what's right, even if he knows nothing about the situation. And judging by his first impression, I can only describe him as somewhat of a cinnamon roll."

"How about I describe you of somewhat of a child traffiker?"

Mister Seokjin laughed.

"Lastly you, Taehyung. You seem to have a big presence. Those scumbags fled the scene the moment you decided to step in. You're a intelligent one. You're discreet, well kept and most of all, you only trust those you decided to trust with your entire being. I respect that." Mr Jin said.

I watched as Taehyung's eyes narrowed. He was clearly pissed.

"Nice try. But you're wrong." Taehyung said, turning his back on all three of us.

"And don't try and correct yourself. You'll just fail again, Kim Seokjin." Taehyung said.

I quickly looked at Mr Jin. He looked satisfied. As if we just passed a test or something.

I felt someone tug on my shirt, looking to see Jungkook next to me, his doe eyes almost resembling Mr Jin's.

"I think we should go. You must have already figured out that the pros overweight the cons, right Jimin?" Jungkook asked, his face filled with anticipation.
