Jin's POV
—
Before I went to go sleep I decided to tell each one of them goodnight. I went to Jungkook's room first, only to see his bed empty and messy.
He must've been tossing and turning.
So I went to Taehyung's room afterwards, seeing his bed completely untouched.
He didn't even bother.
I smiled, walking to Jimin's room, knowing good and well they were all in there. I opened the door and saw all of them in Jimin's bed. Taehyung lying on his side, squeezing the plushy in his arms.
Jungkook was on his back, lying next to Taehyung, his one leg around Taehyung and his other on Jimin. Jimin on the other hand, was lying on his stomach, his butt covered by Jungkook's foot.
I softly chuckled, closing the door on my way out, but leaving it slightly open. I looked at the floor, my heart doing back flips inside of me. Those three have a bond that I couldn't even try and understand.
It made me happy.
Happy that I could give them a chance at more happiness than what they had back when they were together on the streets.
"Fate brought you boys on my path. And I'm glad it did."

Jimin's POV
—
I woke up in the middle of the night, my backside feeling numb while the drool on my face had dried up. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, sitting up straight and noticing Taehyung was gone.
I frowned, wondering where he could have gone off, too.
I slowly got out of bed, making sure not to wake up Jungkook. I made my way to the door, noticing it was slightly opened already.
"Damn it, Tae. What are you up to?"
I walked down the hall that seemed like it was getting longer with every step I took. I heard faint breathes coming from a room. The door was barely closed, and I could see a strand of light pierce through.
"Tae?" I asked, but held my breath when I noticed Mr Namjoon sitting by his desk, stacks of paper on his far stretched desk while there were magazine covers on the wall.
Mr Namjoon sensed my presence, turning around and revealing the dark bags under his dragon eyes.
"Explain." His deep voice ordered. I gulped, a cold sweat dripping down my forehead.
"Sorry, Mr Namjoon. I was just looking for Taehyung." I softly replied, hoping he could hear my voice.
"And why would that punk be in here?" Mr Namjoon asked, almost sounding like he was scolding me. I looked down, shrugging in response. It's not as if we were given a proper tour of this huge estate anyway.
And even if we were, I would probably have forgotten half of the tour the second it would have ended. Mr Namjoon sighed, his golden locks falling across his face.
"Now that you're here, I might as well ask -" he got up from his chair, slowing making his way towards me. I stepped back, fear brewing inside me.
I'm afraid?
It was weird. It's been so long since I felt afraid. Mainly cause I knew I had Taehyung and Jungkook by my side to conquer anything.
But now I was alone. In the presence of a man who told us that he waited for our departure, knowing of our history on the streets.
"Afraid?" He asked me suddenly.
I nodded my head, knowing that lying wouldn't solve anything. There was no point. If his skills of deduction were as good as Jin's, lying would be futile.
"Good. You should be afraid of something you don't understand." Mr Namjoon said, causing my insides to quiver.
"You had a question, Mr Namjoon." I reminded, his eyes slightly opening due to remembering.
"Oh yes. I do." He said.
He stared down at me, the bags under his eyes making him look even more terrifying. "Jin won't tell me why, so I'll ask you." He leaned in closer to my face. "Why did he choose you three insects?" He asked, as cold as ever.
I bit down on my tongue, wanting to tell him off so badly. I wanted to tell him that what he was saying was absolute garbage. That we weren't insects. That we were people. Just like him.
I looked down, my hair covering my eyes that were glaring at him.
"Long story short, we saved him from getting mugged, and he brought us here. This feels like more of a thank you than a home." I said the last part without thinking, looking away after getting no response from him.
And then he started laughing.
I am afraid.
He pushed his hair out of his eyes, glaring straight at me.
"This is a thank you, you moron. Don't get too comfortable, though. Half a year goes by just like that." He snapped his fingers.
He turned around, blankly staring at the wall with magazine covers spread all around.
What did he actually do?
What is he?
"You're of no use here. A leach that's taking advantage of my sweet husband. But, maybe you are the equivalent of a support dog, helping Jin with his obsession with having children." He glanced at me, his strong figure making me feel inferior. He shook his head, smirking a bit.
"I contradict myself. Let me make it plain and simple. You are worthless. So enjoy you're temporary stay, you'll all be gone by July."
I smiled, though. I knew I couldn't show him any kind of disrespect in his own house whilst I was nothing but a guest.
"Alright then. Good night, Mr Namjoon." I bowed, leaving the room.
"Good night, insect." I heard him mock me, but I didn't care. I just wanted to go back to bed and sleep.
I walked into my room, seeing Taehyung underneath Jungkook as if he were a body pillow. He was still awake, blankly staring at the mattress.
"Tae! Where were you?!" I whisper shouted, getting his attention.
"Bathroom."
I face palmed myself, feeling like an absolute idiot.
"Where were you?" He calmly asked, Jungkook's light snores keeping it from turning completely silent.
I sighed, looking at my feet while I clinched onto my pajama shirt. Taehyung noticed, his eyebrows arching as a sign that he knew I felt off.
"What happened?" He asked.
I held back my tears, smiling at him.
"Stubbed my toe on my way in."
"Fucking loser."
