We had breakfast and decided to go for one of our many morning walks. After all, we had nothing else to do.
"Let's play Dare to Dream." Jungkook playfully asked, much to Taehyung's annoyance. "We play that everyday." Tae groaned, his hands deep inside his short's pockets.
"Come on! Please! Jimin can start." Jungkook said, even though I never agreed.
I smiled, a soft giggle escaping my mouth. "Ok. I'll start." I said, causing Jungkook to excitedly clap his hands.
Taehyung scoffed, his eyes dead set in front of him while his shoulders were pushed back and his back straight. "I, Park Jimin, would dream of becoming a successful dancer. I would go to nationals, travel the world...find love and want to start a family." I smiled, noticing Taehyung's eyes were boaring holes in the side of my head.
"That's new. A family?" Taehyung asked me and I replied with a slight head nod. "Cool." Taehyung shrugged, looking back forward.
Sometimes I wish he would just be a little more interested in certain things.
"Tae?" I asked, waiting for him to tell us his dream. Taehyung sighed, pointing forward.
"That is my dream." Taehyung said, pointing at a giant building that looked like it was only occupied by elites.
Jungkook lifted his brow.
"What is? Too work at that place?"
"To own it?" I asked afterwards.
But Taehyung shook his head. "No. I wanna be able to build something like that. Create workspaces, places for people to enjoy themselves...accommodations for others." He stopped.
I looked at my worn out shoes. Taehyung was such a deep guy. Even his voice showed it-
(Bad joke. Excuse me)
-but he was really hurt. I could sense it. I'm what you would call, a self-diagnosed empath.
"Sad Tae?" I asked him.
"Mad Tae." he said, basically warning me to stop talking.
"My turn!" Jungkook yelled, causing me to crack a smile. "Okay Jungkook, what is your dream?" I asked, knowing good and well that he would say what he always said.
Big black house. Lots of cars. Also black. Lots of rooms for me and Taehyung to stay in. Big fluffy dogs. Preferably black but he isn't picky. And lastly, to be an artist like G dragon.
"I-" but before Jungkook could answer, they saw a man being pushed around. He looked well of. Polished shoes, clean hair and face, nice big coat.
"He's getting mugged by EXO." Taehyung nonchalantly pointed out the obvious, causing the hairs on my arms to stand up straight.
EXO was a dangerous group of homeless thugs in the city. But their origin story was more complicated than that. Their existence consisted of layers and layers of transgression and friction.
They were bad bad news. Unknown threats to the public. And we only know them cause-
"HEY! GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Jungkook's yells pulled me out of my thoughts. I saw him charging at EXO, his fists high and ready to swing.
"Lookie there. It's Jungcock." One of the members laughed. Jungkook was about to blow a punch but got tackled down by another member.
It was Sehun.
"What were you tryna do!? Huh?" Sehun snarled, pinning Jungkook on the ground. The unknown man was still getting mugged, his lovely coat and polished shoes already in EXO's hands.
