"Gah dayum, calm down!" Hoseok took a breath, squatting down onto the floor and wiping the sweat off of his forehead.
"Come on, that was just the warm-up." Jungkook jumped around, getting ready to try the next dance move Hoseok wanted to teach us.
"Oh now you're just overexaggerating. We've been at it for hours, you monsters." Hoseok inhaled sharply and exhaled.
"Oof. The years catching up to you?" I teased, watching Hoseok's face contort due to all the emotions he must have been feeling.
"I'm 20 something you little bastard, how dare you." He said in an attempt to keep his age a secret while we all knew damn well he was 30.
I rolled my eyes playfully.
Jungkook laughed.
"Bro said 20 'something'. He's at that stage where he can't even remember his own age. He's in his mid-life crisis arc."
"Mid-lif-? Leave. Immediately." Hoseok demanded, barely catching his breath.
"Do we come back tomorrow?" I asked.
"You're banished. Excuse yourselves."
-
"But not actually banished, you know." Jungkook told the rest of us sitting at the dinner table.
I sighed, looking around and noticing Hoseok wasn't around.
"Where is Hoseok?" I asked.
"On life support. What have you two done to that poor man?" Taehyung said, not seeming quite himself. He looked really worried and wasn't touching his food at all.
It was upsetting me.
"He's currently taking a day off. Something about his dignity being stripped from him and that he needs to embark on a journey of manhood." Jin said, taking a bite out of his food.
Me and Jungkook looked at each other, both of us starting to feel terrible.
"Could we stop by wherever he is tomorrow?" I asked, receiving a weird look from Mr Namjoon.
"Yeah. We could be like a get-well-soon visit." Jungkook beamed, making Mr Namjoon scoff.
"Do that and he might flat out die." Mr Namjoon said nonchalantly, eating his dinner.
Jin rolled his eyes, looking at me and Jungkook and then at Taehyung.
"Do you two know what Taehyung was doing all day?" Jin asked with a devious smirk on his face. I quickly looked in Taehyung's direction, noticing he was now staring daggers at Jin.
"Do not-" Taehyung mouthed at him.
"Oh yeah, now I need to know. Tell us everything, Jin." I said, leaning forward in my seat in anticipation.
Jin glanced over at Taehyung who was slowly starting to point a butter knife at him.
What was making bro so mad.
"Taehyung and I went grocery shopping together."
"No way." Me and jungkook said flabbergasted simultaneously.
Taehyung sank down into his chair, half of his head peeking through the edge of the table.
"Ugh, now that you know of my shame how will I ever live on." Taehyung said in a monotone voice, glaring at Jin afterwards who was enjoying his dinner as if he didn't just ruin Taehyung's whole night.
"Tell us about it immediately." I said, snickering at the image of Taehyung shopping with Jin.
"tElL uS aBoUt iT iMmEdiAtElY. Go suck a fat one, gumdrop." Taehyung flipped me off, which just triggered me to flip him off as well.
"I guess you're not referring to yourself, pixel penis." I rolled my eyes.
"What is it with this urge of yours to suck these nuts?"
"Those are peanuts at best."
"For fucks sake, leave!" Mr Namjoon said with a mouth filled with food. Taehyung just rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, Mr Namjoon." I hesitantly said, looking down at my lap. Jungkook tapped my leg and winked at me.
"Jin, you gotta tell us about you and Taehyung's shopping trip. I wanna know what happened!" He smiled.
I smiled too.
Jin slowly put down his utensils and nodded his head.
"The favorite has spoken-"
"The what-"
"So this was how it all started..."
-
"They went where?" Taehyung asked, his practically empty bag dangling on one shoulder while he wore a motionless expression on his face.
"Hoseok's dance studio. They went without you because they knew you wouldn't wanna go." Jin said, sitting in the driver's seat of his luxurious AMG GT 63 S.
Taehyung scoffed.
"Those bitches could've let me know at least." He said re-adjusting the bag on his shoulder.
Jin smiled.
"Aww, does my little boy feel left out?"
"How dare you talk to me like that? What gives you the right?" Taehyung frowned, watching as Jin got out of the vehicle and stood in front of him, overtowering him completely.
He pushed his index finger on Taehyung's forehead.
"Don't frown dumby, you'll get wrinkles."
Taehyung smacked his hand away, an even bigger frown on his face.
"Now you're just doing this out of spite." Jin rolled his eyes from behind his thick black sunglasses.
Suddenly his phone rang and Taehyung eyed Jin's every move as he took the phone out of his pocket and answered the phone.
"Hello?" .... "What do you mean he's not going?" .... "I refuse to believe such incompetence. Unreal." .... "What do I pay these morons for?" .... "So it's all up to me now?"
Jin suddenly went quiet and stared at Taehyung, who was looking at him with his brow quirked in suspicion.
"What do you want from me?" Taehyung asked in a semi worried tone.
Jin just smiled.
"You know what, absolutely wonderful. Leave it to me." He hung up the phone and walked over to his car, signaling me with his fingers to get in.
"Let's go." Jin said as Taehyung walked over to the passenger's side of the car, slowly getting in and shutting the door.
"Go where?"
"To the supermarket."
"Let me the fuck out-"
