"You are of no use."

"You are worthless."

Those words kept echoing in my head, as if my subconscious was trying to make me believe it. Not gonna lie, I was starting to feel like it was.

That I was actually useless.

-

Me and the guys were seated at the table, bowls of cereal in front of us while Hoseok was busy in the kitchen. Jin and Mr Namjoon had gone to work so we were all alone.

"You sure you don't want me to whip you up some scallion pancakes or something?" Hoseok asked from the kitchen, but I yelled back that we all agreed that we wanted cereal.

"If you say so." Hoseok replied.

Taehyung has been observing me all morning. He knew I was down. I have been eerily quiet after all.

I should change that.

"Hey guys. What are you guys planning on doing today?" I asked, a wide smile on my face, causing Jungkook to smile back.

"Dunno. Usually this time we're begging for food." Taehyung said, scooping cereal in his spoon and eating a big old mouth full.

Jungkook nodded, slightly laughing afterwards.

"Yeah. And look at us. Dining like kings." Jungkook joked, his chin held high while Taehyung playfully rolled his eyes, a small smile on his lips.

I smiled, everything around me making me feel better after what happened last night.

Of course I was of use. Maybe not to Mr Namjoon, but to the two of them, I had to be of use. And that made me feel not just wanted, but appreciated.

"I think we should explore the house a bit. We are used to walking miles after all." I joked, watching Taehyung lift his brow at me.

He picked up his bowl, slurping down the remains of milk inside the bowl. "Makes sense. We will be living here for six months. Might as well get used to the surroundings till then." Taehyung muttered, getting up and walking to the kitchen.

I could hear Hoseok scold Taehyung from the kitchen, telling him that he should have called him to get the bowl himself. I could already see Taehyung roll his eyes, ignore Hoseok, place the bowl in the sink and wash it himself.

Just to spite the butler that was so used to doing all the work.

"Jungkook. You up for seconds?" I asked, his head bobbing up and down. He got up and ran to the kitchen, bowing at Hoseok and throwing him another bowl of cereal.

"You two are literally impossible." Hoseok yelled, watching the two boys handle themselves. I laughed, getting up from my seat and walking to the kitchen, watching Hoseok still scold them.

I smiled.

"Hoseok. Relax. We're just trying to lighten your work load." I said, letting Taehyung wash my bowl while I dried them off with a clean rag.

Jungkook was sitting on the counter, his feet swayed back and forth while he enjoyed his second bowl of sugary cereal.

"Yeah. After I'm done I'm gonna put the dishes away." Jungkook giggled, watching Hoseok sigh and slowly grow a smile.

"You three are angels" He said, and Jungkook just replied with a energetic head nod.

"Fine. When you three are done you can go explore the mansion as you intended. I'll be working." He bowed at us, and we just waved him off.

"Hoseok is so nice." Jungkook smiled, putting his bowl in the sink and putting the clean dishes away. I nodded, drying off his bowl and setting it down on the counter.
