The actors set the stage up for the song.

Whizzer frowned when he noticed his and Marvin's actors sat either side of the chess board, trying to work out why they would show a random game of chess. "This is important part of our lives right?" Mendel asked. Jade hummed in reply. "Then why is Marvin and Whizzer playing chess in here, they've always done that?"

"Can you remember a specific game of chess that might be important enough to put in the musical?" Issie asked. Whizzer went wide eyed when he realised.

"Oh.." Marvin mumbled, pulling Whizzer closer.
