Retrieving The Crown

"Skye! There she is!" the German Shepherd howled.

The two soon ran to the edge of the cliff. The princess was inside a steel cage, locked from the outside.

"Pups! Help me!"

Chase took a sniff of the keypad. He circled around the area, trying to find the key. He soon gave up, the key was nowhere near them.

"I think we need Rocky on this one." he said.

"I'll call him!" Skye yipped. "Rocky! We need your help!"

The pup tag replied with a series of statics. "Huh? That's odd... Try yours."

He tried too, but he got the same results. Then, the two heard car machines roaring near them.

"Chase! Skye!" Rocky called them from behind the trees.

The two familiar vehicles emerged from the greens behind them.

"Rocky! Zuma!" the two ran towards them

"We tried to call you... But our pup tags won't work." Skye informed.

"Someone jammed our signals..." the mix breed said.

"While you here, could you help us? We couldn't find the key." Chase pointed at the lock.

"Sure!" he trotted to it. "Ruff, wrench!"

The tool deployed out from his pup pack. "Stand back Your Highness."

She took a few steps back before Rocky swung it as hard as possible, breaking the lock after impact.

"That should do the trick!"

The cage door swung open, and the princess was free and unharmed.

"Thank you so much PAW Patrol!"

Zuma noticed that something was missing. "Excuse me Youw Highness... But whewe's youw cwown?"

"A man took it. He's the same person that locked me here."

Chase took a second sniff and his ears pinned down. "Oh no..."

He dashed off alone, leaving them clueless.

"Where's he going?" Skye tilted her head.

Zuma sniffed the air. "You guys didn't wemembew this person's scent?"

The three pups fell silent gasped. "Ryder!"

"What? I'm really sure it's not him. "

"We didn't mean that..." Rocky gulped.

"Ryder may be in trouble."

With Marshall and Everest

"I thought I smell something near here..." Everest muttered as she sniffed the area.

Marshall tried looking around. Then he heard a soft buzzing noise.

"Do you hear that?"

Everest perked her head up and moved her ears. "Kinda... I think it's somewhere below the snow."

"Wait! There's something blinking there!"

Marshall pointed at the occasionally red snow pile. The two ran to it and dug the snow out.

Soon, a weird mechanical box was revealed under the flurry. It blinked for a few times before shutting down on its own due to overheating.
