For Adventure Bay - [PAW Patrol Fanfic]

Fortitude

"The Terrabox..." Ryder silently muttered.

He mustered all his remaining strength to stand up.

"Be careful Ryder." Marshall said with a worry tone.

He nodded and they all slowly entered the room. There it was. The box. Secured at the very middle of the large circular atrium-like room.

They walked closer and saw the endless abyss that kept it safe from intruders. Surrounding them was a wall with endless heights.

The wall was decorated with 7 doors, each with an eerily familiar logo designated for each of them, as if they're planned to open them in the first place.

Ryder immediately called Nat to inform her about the findings, however the he couldn't receive any signal.

"No signal?" Rocky asked.

"Yeah..."

"I'll send out a GPS signal. I hope it goes through."

"Can't we just grab the box?" Chase asked. "There's like... Minimal security except for that deep hole."

"Should I try to grab it?" Skye also asked.

"I don't think you should... She would never make it this easy to obtain." Ryder replied.

Everest found a small pebble and tossed it towards the pedestal. Sure enough, they all gasped in horror the pebble was incinerated with lasers till it turned to ashes.

"That could be you..." Marshall said to Skye.

"Please enter your designated rooms."

"Who's that?" Rubble swiftly turned around.

It was the same voice that greeted them earlier. They looked around, but they couldn't find any source where the voice might came out.

"Everest. Could you be on guard out here in case anything happens?" Ryder asked.

"Sure do Ryder! I'll alert you guys when something odd appears."

Ryder and his 6 main pup walked towards the door. Each of them was called instinctively to the different doors. As they all stood in front of them, they all opened in sync, surprising them all. They looked at each other before they together walked inside.

As predicted, the doors immediately closed, locking them in. The secret front door also closed down on Everest.

"That surprised me..." she gasped.

She looked at the doors. The symbols now glow in different yet iconic colors, each representing the different members of PAW Patrol.

"Good luck PAW Patrol."

Inside each room, there was a seat with a spotlight casted upon it. Ryder cautiously stepped closer and sat down. It suddenly moved, strapping down the teen in place.

"What the-"

Stinging sensations were felt from the back of his neck and both of his wrists. Ryder hissed at the pain, but luckily it faded away as soon as they came.

He felt nothing for the next few minutes, but then his reality started to bend on him. Hallucinations appeared around him in a from of shadow-like figures and the voice was heard once again.
