It had been soothing, knowing that Dream could trust him. Knowing that he was slowly getting better.
George lay in bed staring at the ceiling. Dream lay next to him, shirtless and fast asleep, a quiet snore echoed from his mouth every once in a while. George however, couldn't sleep. Mostly because he wasn't very tired from sleeping all day but also because he couldn't stop thinking about why Sapnap had suddenly arrived and why they were going out without him in the morning.
He rested his head on his hands and listened as his heart beat calmly. George was happy with himself, he hadn't had a thought or an urge to cut for the past few hours and each breath calmed down his impulsiveness.
George closed his eyes. He remembered the first dream he had, in this exact bed. How long had it been? So much had changed. Suddenly George realised something. He hadn't told Dream about his dream. But Fundy did. And if he told Dream now it could all sound like a lie. Like he was really copying Fundy and wasn't in love with Dream like he said he was. But it made sense now. How Fundy had somehow had the exact dream that he did.
The only person George told about his Dream was Sapnap. And Sapnap had made a deal with Fundy.
George shivered at the thought then calmed himself. He didn't like to recall the past as he hadn't completely gotten over it yet. It still hurt him.
George turned onto his side and watched Dreams peaceful face. His lips were parted and his head tilted towards George. George smiled and closed his eyes, keeping the image of Dream sleeping at the front of his mind, pushing away the negative thoughts that were trying to pull him apart.

George woke in an empty bed. He felt strangely alone because he was used to seeing Dream lying next to him, and giving him a sweet morning kiss making his stomach flutter.
George sat up and looked at his wrist. Each cut was now a pale white scar, and quite thick. He regretted how deep he had let himself go.
The sunlight hurt his eyes as George climbed out of bed and saw a small note on his bedside table.

Morning George, I hope you're doing ok :) Just reminding you I've gone out with Sapnap quickly but I'll be back soon, let me know if you need anything xx
Love Dream

George smiled and left the note untouched as he walked into the kitchen. His house was quiet. It reminded him of the days before he had left for Florida. His silent unpacking and weekly streams. It was nice back then. He had nothing to worry about. But now, now as he looked at his wrist and acknowledged his new feelings he realised just how much different he was. From a friendly, public streamer to a depressed, hidden and painfully in love person. He couldn't even call himself a steamer. George had only gone live once in the past month, maybe longer. His fans were worried. He was even worried about himself.

George pushed down the toaster and waited patiently for the bread to pop back up. He checked his phone while he waited. There was nothing new from Dream or Sapnap but he felt like texting Dream.

Hi Dream :) - G

George wasn't surprised when he heard his phone buzz a few seconds after he had sent the message, obviously Dream would be be worried, but George just wanted attention.

Morning, is everything alright? - D

George smiled, he loved how caring Dream was. Even if no one else saw it, he knew the real Dream, and that's what he loved him for.

Yes I'm fine, I just wanted to talk to someone x - G

The toaster popped back up, George jumped stupidly then plucked the toast out of the hot metal.

As you're cute haha, well Sapnap and I will be back soon. - D

Okay :) - G

George sighed, and began to look for something to put on his toast, he realised the knifes were gone, all of them.
George huffed then began to spread butter on his toast with a spoon.

Dream sat outside a small cafe opposite Sapnap, he stared down at his lap with this ring a just bought a few minutes earlier.

"I love it Sapnap" he said for the third time, it was unbelievable how real this all was.

"So have you thought about where, and when?" Sapnap asked worth a mouth full of food. Dream laughed.

"Well I have a couple places in mind" Dream said, remembering the landmarks that had stuck in his head. "So there is this place back in Florida, but I'm not sure if he'll want to go back at the moment. Or there is this nice open field that I saw when I was going out to get some glass for our window" Dream said, he looked at Sapnap for a sign of approval.
He looked thoughtful for a second before he replied.

"Can you show me the field on the way back? I'll tell you then if George will like it" he said. Dream nodded then felt slightly confused.

"How will you know if George will like it?" He asked. Sapnap widened his eyes then smiled nervously.

"I.. I just will" he said laughing and ate another forkful of his pancake. Dream looked down at the ring again.

"I think I'll give it a couple weeks, y'know, so that George isn't suspicious" Dream said, still staring at the ring. He had lost his appetite as adrenaline rushed through his body. He was excited. And nervous.

"Hey I'm done, should we go?" Sapnap asked. Dream looked up and smiled.

"Yup, I'll show you the field too" he said and slipped the ring into his pocket, imagining being backs in a wedding dress. If George said yes.
