It was dark outside. George had just turned off his phone from messaging Sapnap. He desperately wanted to hear Dreams voice. No. That sounded creepy he thought, but couldn't help that he actually did.

Georges stomach grumbled and he pushed himself off his bed to go get food from the kitchen. He had barely left his room the last few days and he hadn't left his house at all since he had moved. Dream had said that New York was pretty cool and there were some nice Cafe's close to his house. So when George realized there was no food left at his house he decided to go out.

The sun was setting outside and the cool night breeze brushed against Georges face. It was a nice change to his hot stuffy house. Why hadn't he left earlier?
It only took a few minutes to get to the closest cafe. It looked nice inside. George parked his car and walked into the cafe, immediately greeted by the staff.
"Hi, how are you today? Table for one?".
"I'm good thanks and yes please" George replied, following the waiter to a table at the back of the room next to a big window that had a view of the city.
"Let me know when you want to order" smiled the waiter. George nodded and opened the menu. Everything sounded nice but was unnecessarily overpriced. He decided on a burger and chips. The cheapest thing on the list.
George called over the waiter who wrote down his order and disappeared into the kitchen.
The cafe was quiet. There wasn't many people there. It was a nice place for George to think and get things off his mind. But right now he couldn't forget Dream.
He sighed and checked his phone. There was a message from Dream. George's face instantly lit up. He smiled and opened the message.
Hi George, you doing ok? It read.
George replied.
Hey I'm good, just at a cafe atm. Didn't have any food at home haha.

Damn how much do you eat 😂
George giggled. He wasn't a very muscular person. His arms and legs were rather skinny. In fact he didn't even eat that much. He just forgot to buy a big cart of food to last him when he first arrived.

Shut up I'm just having a night out. Clearing my mind. George said.

Clearing your mind? What have you been thinking about lol.

Nothing you'd care about. George couldn't tell him. Obviously Dream would care. But if he cared in a good way or a bad way George didn't know. That's why he was scared.

Oh really. I reckon I would

Nah trust me. I'm just over exaggerating

You sure? You seem on edge lately

I'm fine Dream

Ok ok I'll leave you to dinner then. Have fun

Thanks

George turned off his phone. He didn't want to say something wrong or be harsh at Dream just because he was hiding his feelings.

---------------------------

George had arrived home from the cafe. It was nearly midnight. He stepped out of his car and opened the front door to a rush of warmth. He forgot to leave the air con on. He walked inside and threw the keys onto the counter then rushed into his room.

I'm home :) - He messaged Dream, desperate to talk to him.

Nice, did you enjoy the food? Dream asked.

Yeah. Said George. Then he had an idea. If he sent a photo of himself maybe he'd get one back? All he wanted was to see Dream. His body and face pictured inside his head. George felt himself blushing and lay back on his bed. He took a photo of himself holding a thumbs up and sent it.

It took a while and a moment of hesitation before George got a reply. Dream had sent a photo. He opened it cautiously, butterflies swimming in his stomach.

Dream was also in bed. Half his face blocked with his arm. But George saw the smile. And his chest. He was shirtless. George held his breath as he looked at the photo. The Dream that he kept having was circling through his mind. George could see Dreams lips in the photo. He wanted to be laying there. Next to Dream in real life. Kissing him until they passed out. His heart was in pain. He needed Dream but George was still scared. One day. One day he would tell him. One day George would meet Dream and he would kiss him. Just like the Dream. Pulling each other closer...

George sent a photo back. He covered his blushing cheeks but kept his smile in. Almost imitating Dream. He captioned it goodnight.

Dream replied. This time it was just the left side of his face. His green eyes shimmered from the flash and his perfect Jawline made George bite his lip. Dream had also written goodnight. But with a little xo at the end. George's heart fluttered.

George placed his phone next to his bed and fell asleep. His mind returned to the image of him and Dream kissing. But this time Dream pushed George to the ground and pulled him closer. George could smell cologne. He gripped Dreams hair and kissed him harder.

It was 5am. George woke up smiling. He wanted to fall asleep again. Little did he know his Dreams were becoming closer to a reality.
