Chapter 8 - Feelings

"Hey, um what did you want Sapnap?" George asked as soon as Sapnap picked up. He was afraid that Dream had said something and Sapnap was bringing bad news.

"Okay, um. I need to talk to you about Dream. We have been talking recently obviously. But I'm not gonna say too much cause I don't think he wants me talking to you about it."

"Yea I guess. Before you start, y'know how I've kinda been confessing my feelings to you? I kinda threw some hints at him when we were texting and he said he had to go so I'm worried about what he thinks now." George said nervously. He was sitting on the edge of his bed. His limbs were numb and he held his breath as he waited for a response. Surely it can't go downhill from here.

"George. I'm just letting you know, he's definitely not thinking bad about you at all. You guys are best friends how could he suddenly not like you?" He could hear the truth in Sapnaps voice. Spanap was calm and serious as he talked to George. This conversation must be important. George relaxed a little.

With a small sigh, George replied, "Cool, I'm glad to hear I didn't fuck things up"

"Of course you didn't George. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that throwing hints at Dream and trying to open up a bit will be a good idea." George closed his eyes and lay down. Relief flooded through his body as a heard what Sapnap said.

"So I should talk to him about it then?" Asked George

"Yeah, I think you should. It will help with your relationship together and break the tension you two have at the moment. Whenever we call I can hear it in your voice George. You're not the same around him anymore. And he has noticed it too."

"Okay Mr couples advice guy I'll try" George laughed, trying to ease the mood. Sapnap giggled too.

"But also George. Don't go too fast. Make sure you slowly talk about how you feel. Dream gets overwhelmed easily."

"I know" said George, "I'll watch my words, I just hope he doesn't think of me differently when I open up" he added.

"Trust me, he won't. You've been best friends for years George. Nothing can ruin that now. Not even this."

"Are you sure Sapnap?". George could hear how truthful Sapnap was. But he wasn't convinced. How could he be sure Dream wouldn't be disgusted. It hurt George to think about it.

"One hundred percent. And anyway what you said is true right? You feel like more than friends towards him. George. Are you in love with Dream?"

George blushed. The answer was obvious. He still hadn't told Sapnap about his reccurring Dream. Was now the right time.

"Sapnap. The past few nights I've had this Dream. I was standing In a massive field. There was a black figure on the other side. When it got closer to me I could make out the body shape. And then it would grab me, pull me close. And... and it would kiss me. But the other day Dream finally sent a picture of his face to me. The black figure turned into Dream the other night." George breathed heavily and he could tell what Sapnap was thinking.

"Go on" he said as George paused.

"Sapnap.... I kissed Dream. And I liked it. I wanted it in real life." George managed to say before becoming fully embarrassed and feeling hot. He could hear Sapnap breathing through the phone. Had he said too much?

"Does that answer your question Sapnap?" George whispered.

"Yes. George, it does. I think you should talk to Dream about it before we go to Florida this weekend." Said Sapnap. George sighed. He really didn't want to but Sapnap had convinced him.

"Why do you want me to talk to him so bad anyway?" George asked.

"George isn't it obvious?" He said. George didn't know what to say.

"It might not be as obvious as it was for you George but it is.... Dream likes you too George. And not just as friends." George fell completely silent. His heart fluttered. He touched his lips with his fingers, desperately wanting to be kissed. Was Sapnap being serious?

"Now go talk to him idiot before I tell him myself" Sapnap laughed.

"Omg Sapnap, I will, shut up. I'm gonna go now" George snapped back.

"Ok calm down. See ya Gogy" Sapnap said still laughing as George hung up.

George was still flustered. He put his phone on his desk and lay down. Was what Sapnap said true. He would have to find out for himself. Why would Dream like him back. George was sure that Dream wasn't Gay. It didn't matter. He needed to prepare how he was gonna talk to Dream. Every time he did, he got butterflies or started blushing. He needed to keep it under control when he goes to Florida.

After Georges long call with Sapnap, the day had rushed by leaving him exhausted. It was now almost midnight and George slipped into his blankets. He couldn't stop thinking about their conversation and how he would talk to Dream. Eventually his eyes fluttered shut and a specific Dream began to replay in his head.

The dark shadow which turned out to be Dream pulled George closer - gripping onto his waist as he pulled George to the ground. It wasn't hard since George was light. George closed his eyes and pulled Dream closer. Kissing him passionately and enjoying as Dream put in the same effort. They both lay together. George on the bottom. George gripped onto Dreams hair and took a short breath to smile before returning to Dreams lips. Dreams green eyes stared at him for a moment. Sparkling with love then gently closing again. Dreams lips were the perfect shape and matched like a puzzle piece onto Georges mouth. The warmth in George's body made him feel like he was glowing. This was his heaven. The place he wanted to be..... If only it was real.

When George woke up he knew he had to message Dream. Not about what he had Dreamed of, that was a whole different story that George couldn't think about without feeling the pain that It might never be real. He had to somehow leave Dream a hint.
