"Girl, bilisan mo!" Nagpatanggay na ako sa hila ng bestfriend ko since wala rin naman akong kawala kapag ganito ang state niya. State niyang gustong gusto na niyang makita ang one and only boyfriend niya.
She's Shamcey Rivers. My one and only best friend since birth. My mom and her dad are both bestfriend nung college hanggang sa nagging forever at tumagal ang friendship nila. Although, Tita Monica ( Shamcey's mom) would always get jealous on my mom but still she's not plastic and all to her.
Matalino si Shamcey, almost like her successful mother. Lagi kasing sinasabi ni Tita sakanya na 'money can't buy happiness but it can get you somewhere high'. Because of that, Shamcey wanted to be more famous than she is. Grade school kami noong nalaman niya iyon. Sikat na naman siya noon as the smart girl on our class. Pero mukhang hindi pa siya nakuntento ditto at gusto niya pang umangat. Now, she's the reigning queen bitch of Divine University. Well, I don't call her like that pero yan ang pinanghahawakan niyang title. Mabait siya sa mabait but when you really push her button, she'll kill you. She has the perfect grades, perfect wealth, perfect life and of course perfect man.
Don't get me wrong! I don't like Aiden Krisp. Even if he's the title holder of the most hottest guy, most valuable player in football and the most charming guy in the whole University! Hindi! Mali yon! He's my bestfriend's man, bakit ko aagawin siya? Masira lang friendship namin noh! Duh.
As for me? I'm the reigning nobody. Well, that's what I call myself. But others call me the Princess of divne. Sa sobrang mapagbigay, kabaitan at katahimikan ko raw eh nararapat na mapunta sa akin yang title na yan. Everybody knows me, being the best friend of the most popular girl in campus. But they never saw me as an individual.
"Hey! Earth to Spencer!" nabalik ako sa ulirat at tinignan siya. "Huh?"
"Ano nanaman bang iniisip mo at lumulutang nanaman yang brain mo?" I shook my head at nag-patuloy na kaming lumakad sa halls.
I'm taking Real Estate Management-Sabi kasi ni Daddy, ako raw ang mag-mamana ng kompanya nila since ako lang naman ang tangi nilang anak. And I'm in my third year!
"So, hey! Malapit na ang valentine's day! Anong sa tingin mo ang magandang surprise kay Bae?"
I shrugged. "You should be the one thinking that thoroughly since ikaw ang partner ng Bae mo." Tamad kong sagot.
"Che! Ang grumpy mo nanaman! Sige na, dito na ang room ko. Good luck on your first day, Spence!" at pumasok na siya sa room niya.
She's taking Fashion Course. And we're in the same year.
Tumingin muna ako sa harap at likod ko at tinignan kung may dadaan bang mga tao. Nang makita kong ako lang dito sa halls, kinalalkal ko na ang bag ko para hanapin ang Schedule ko dahil hindi ko naman natignan kanina dahil nga lumulutang ang brain ko- *BOOGSHH!*
"Oh my! I'm sorry, kuya! Hindi ako nakatingin!" lumuhod ako para kuhain ang gamit naming nalag-lag and he did the same.
Mabilis kong nakuha ang akin at sabay na rin kaming tumayo. Hindi sinasadyang napatingin ako sa may leeg niya and there I noticed wala pa siyang ID. "Kuya, bago ka noh?"
He just looked at me. Shit naman. Para akong papatayin nito! Ganun ba kasakit yung pagka-bangga ko sakanya? Pero infairness, I like his eyes. Medyo bluish ang mga mata niya! Kawaii! *u*
"Since I owe you one, I'll just take you to your room. Masyado kasing malaki ang univ baka hindi mo mahanap ang room mo. Can I see your schedule?" I asked and he willingly gave it to me.
