The Dance of the Butterfly

         Atem went out his balcony and stared at the city while lost in thought. He brought his fingers to his lips and touched them as he could still feel her lips on him. Yugi managed to convince his mother to let him spend a night at Atem's since he didn't want him to end up sleeping out the balcony again and him getting yelled by Xiao Feng. Yugi had changed to his pjs and looked for Atem through the whole lot and he facepalmed as he remembered where he wanted to keep him out of. "Atem I know you like looking out but this isn't Egypt and the weather here is colder at night." Yugi said as he came out to the balcony to see Atem lovestruck. Atem snapped out of his daze and looked next to him to see Yugi leaning against the railing. "You know this feels familiar like the way we are right now. Atem commented making Yugi confused. "How?" Yugi asked. "5000(3000) years ago I was in the balcony staring out thinking about her and my priest Seto accompanied me while we waited for Mahad." Atem confessed. "What did you guys talk about?" Yugi seemed curious. "Well I asked him if I was going to be a good pharaoh and father and we already know how that went... after that we chatted on about Mahad liked Mana and I asked Seto who he liked but he denied loving someone." Atem explained while Yugi thought about what Atem said. "Back then anyone who laid eyes on the prince's let alone pharaoh's women would be punished by death." Atem explained making Yugi stared at him like he was crazy. "If you would've found out Seto had feelings over your queen you would've killed him?" Yugi asked. "Yes I even had suspicions of it but then there was Kisara she reappeared in Seto's life that made me relax and spare him." Atem confessed. "How would you deal having your friends get killed over liking someone you loved too didn't you ask the queen who she loved?" Yugi asked. Atem gripped the railing as Yugi asked. "No I never thought of that since she spent times with me I would've guess she loved me right didn't that's why she was married to me?" Atem asked not feeling so sure of himself anymore. "I don't know Yami but till we find her you can ask her about how she felt and where did she hid your guys son." Yugi said trying to cheer him up a bit. "You're right we need to find her first, then I'll get the answers that I need..." Atem said with tears brimming his eyes. "Yugi go rest I'll go to my bed shortly." Atem ordered holding the tears as much as he could. "I'll go sleep in the room you gave here in your house goodnight Yami." Yugi patted Atem's back before disappearing to the bedroom and then walked out to find his new bedroom. Atem broke down on the balcony and threw the vase on the balcony table on the flower smashing it. "Was I so foolish in loving you that I didn't even ask you if you had the same feelings? Was this darkness in my heart growing so much even before we met? If it did what I do to you that you disappeared from me?" Atem asked the wind as he gripped on the railing. After that he went inside closing the door then went to sleep. Atem turned to the empty side of the bed and reached out trying to imagine her there but he couldn't picture her since he didn't remembered her so he dropped his hand down then drifted off to sleep.
Meanwhile Xiao Feng was out in her balcony staring at the stars that were visible there. "Why do I feel like I miss a certain place where the stars could be seen as clearly as if you where in the wild?" Xiao Feng asked herself. "Here the stars look like they are so far away out of reach..." Xiao Feng commented. She closed her eyes as tears fell from her eyes falling down like waterfalls. "I feel like I miss more than that place ugh why did I kiss him? Now this feelings like I'm missing someone won't stop ever since I left the festival." Xiao Feng said annoyed. "Xiao Feng it's late and it's getting colder why don't you rest?" Eva said stepping out to the balcony. "You're right." Xiao Feng quickly wipes her tears and walked with Eva to her room. Eva closed the doors and waited for Xiao Feng to get in bed to leave and shut the lights off. Xiao Feng laid on her side in bed and reached her hand out to like if she was going to grab something then dropped the hand down on the empty side of the bed.
On the next day Téa, Mai, and Serenity went shopping as a girls day out. They went and bought new clothes and hanfus to look nice for the boys. "Hey Serenity who are you trying to show of your new hanfu?" Mai asked teasing her. "I... don't really have anyone special like you girls." Serenity confessed making both Mai and Téa blush. "We don't have one either we want to show off only." Téa said smiling but stopped when Mai snickered. "Yeah sure what was that from yesterday Atem will be mine thing?" Mai teased making Téa and blush. "Talking about the guys there they are at burger world!" Serenity yelled as she pointed to the other side of the street. "Wait is that Kaiba?" Mai said as they walked to the restaurant. "Hey girls wait up I have an idea." Téa said making the other two turn to her. "Let's head straight to the bathroom and change to our newest outfit." Téa winked at them making them laugh. "Good idea come on Serenity!" Mai yelled as she pulled on Serenity's arm. They all rushed to the bathroom without the guys noticing. "So Yugi I used your game and created a new improved version with the latest rules and decks." Seto showed his phone the game. "So we can duel with anyone even if they're from another part of the world?" Joey asked as he looked into the app. "That's right all people in the world can duel without having to travel all over the world to duel." Seto said as he was dueling Yugi in the app. Mai was placing lipstick when she got a notification on her phone. "Hmm what is this?" Mai asked as she tapped in the app. "Yu- Gi- Oh! Duel links? Hmm let's see." Mai said as she downloaded the app. "Hey Mai what's up?" Téa asked as she got out the bathroom stall almost done with her hanfu. "A new app Kaiba and industrial illusions launched." Mai said as she let her phone to download the app and continued applying her make up. "Oh yeah I saw some ads around the city but didn't pay attention." Téa said as she started working with her make up. After the girls got ready they went out the bathroom and walked to the booth next to the guys. "What are you guys up to?" Téa said as she turned around to see Yugi and Joey sitting together while Atem and Seto sat together with Mokuba. "Where were you girls anyways and why does it smell a lot like cheap perfume?" Tristan said from the other booth behind Atem and Seto. "We went to the mall." Mai said appearing next to Joey freaking him out. "Also if I beat you in this new game wheeler you'll have to take me to a date." Mai teased as Joey blushed and freaked out. "Ha good luck with that chump." Seto mocked as he continued dueling Yugi. "This new app is also brought to you by Qu and Peng company they are paired with KaibaCorp network to access all the data from industrial illusions the newer cards that will be launched this system will have it." Mokuba explained excitedly. "Where is she anyways I didn't reserve the whole restaurant for the dweeb squad." Seto said annoyed as the others got mad. "Relax Kaiba you know how girls are always taking longer than ever." Duke mocked and was scolded by the girls. The door opened and Xiao Feng and the guys came in all swarming Xiao Feng with their tablets. "Alright enough! Everything seems fine for now if any error persists just tell me now Back off!" Xiao Feng said annoyed. "There she is." Mokuba pointed out. "Hello sorry I'm late I'm trying to correct any errors this app has Seto it was reckless of you to launch it without proper testing!" Xiao Feng said annoyed. "I did test it if that's what you're worried about." Seto said relaxing on the chair. "Using yourself as a test subject doesn't count." Xiao Feng clarified making the guys snickered. "The server almost crashed by your recklessness." Xiao Feng scolded. "And you didn't even stop him!" Xiao Feng pointed at the pharaoh who just shrunk in his seat. "Nice hanfu Xiao Feng." Serenity commented. "It's Chanel." Eva said automatically and Xiao Feng scolded her. "Somebody isn't in a good mood." Téa mocked annoyed. "Téa if we asked you every time if someone was in a mood I'll be richer." Seto said as he focused on the game. "In other words shut up." Ivy said annoyed and Xiao Feng glared at her. "Sorry.." Ivy whimpered before sitting down with her computer on the other side of the restaurant. "Sorry if she was rude." Xiao Feng sat in the stool in front of them. "No big deal we all know Téa can be a nag sometimes." Joey joked and was hit on the head by Téa. Everyone laughed except Joey who massaged his head. "What the hell we will need to redo the coding!" Seto yelled annoyed. Xiao Feng was unfazed and kept looking at some papers. "Not my fault you can't even beat Yugi on that device don't bother me." Xiao Feng said as she looked at some contracts she needed to sign. "Yugi after all was taught personally by the pharaoh and dueled side by side with him so he knows how to counter measure your attacks too." Zander clarified. Xiao Feng got up from her chair after signing things and handed them to Eva. "Our job here is done we stabilized the network and assisted to the launch goodbye." Xiao Feng said monotoned. "Wait what?!" Seto yelled making Mokuba move out the way as Seto got out the booth. "You didn't just make me close a god damn restaurant for theses fools to join!" Seto yelled at Xiao Feng. "You do you I do me now let's go guys we have tasks at hand." Xiao Feng said without looking at anyone. Xiao Feng's friends got up and left with her regardless of Seto's arguing. "Xiao Feng wait!" Atem yelled as he ran up to her before she climbed her car. "Is something wrong?" Xiao Feng asked. "Here you left these on the restaurant." Atem handed her some papers and a letter that wasn't part of her paperwork. "Thank you I'll be heading to my company now." Xiao Feng said as polite as possible. Atem nodded and let her go while Téa was fuming over it. After that Seto left to his company to check the launch success. The guys spent a few hours in the burger world spending time together while the reservation lasted then left to the festival. ♪"Well Joey it seems you'll have to take me to a date!"♪ Mai teased making Joey cringe. "Aye Yug a little help here?" Joey rushed Yugi and Atem with him ahead. "What is it Joey?" Yugi asked confused while Atem chuckled. "How do I take a girl on a date let alone Mai?" Joey asked feeling helpless. "Eh I don't know anything about dating Joey." Yugi said embarrassed. "Well Joey take her out to some place she might enjoy or you guys have in common." Atem said as he thought about it. "Battle city? Duelist kingdom?" Joey asked as Atem anime fell. "Why don't you take her to the rides." Yugi suggested. "Ah yeah!" Joey jumped but Atem pulled him down. "Something she would want to ride not you." Atem suggested and Joey frowned. "I don't think Mai is the romantic type remember that superstar you saved her from?" Yugi asked Joey and Joey remembered. "Alright thanks guys!" Joey waved and pulled Mai away with him. Everyone facepalmed his actions. "Well Serenity let's go to whatever game you want to play." Tristan offered. "Thanks Tristan lets go." Serenity said a bit nervous. "I'll come with you if you don't mind." Duke butted in. "Duke Back off!" Tristan said annoyed. "The more the merrier!" Serenity cheered as she pulled on both guys hands stopping the argument. "Hey Bakura why don't we go to the tunnel of love?" A random girl surrounding him asked. "No he's going with me!" Another girl fought. "Alright ladies everyone will have their turn. Bakura said as he was dragged away by his fangirls. "So Yugi Atem where you guys want to go?" Téa asked acting shy. "Um oh would you look at that there's an urgent meeting I have to attend see you two later!" Atem said before winking at Yugi and running away. Yugi looked at Atem surprised while Téa looked disappointed. "Well Téa where you want to go?" Yugi asked feeling shy. "He's so cute when he acts like that." Téa said to herself while smiling at Yugi. "Let's go to the roller coaster over there then we can try some games then the Ferris wheel at sunset." Téa blurted out her plan she had with Atem. "Alright let's go!" Yugi grabbed her hand. "Maybe the girls are right I should try with Yugi since we always been close and I always seemed to get jealous of Rebecca and others who get near him..." Téa thought as she was let herself to be dragged by Yugi.
Atem was driven to Xiao Feng's company by Croquet. Atem got off his limo holding a bouquet of flowers.
