"If we want our world back my relationship with him would be the last thing he should think of." Li Susu sighed walking away leaving Ling Jiu upset. Xiao Feng and Yuan Shuai tucked A Li in bed. "Thank you, uncle, for being here it makes me miss father less." A Li yawned as he got comfortable in his bed. "Jackson always wanted me to look after you" Yuan Shuai smiled as he messed with his hair. Once A Li was asleep Yuan Shuai urged Xiao Feng to leave but she gestured to her hand which was held by A Li. Yuan Shuai sighed softly before going to the infirmary and stealing cot so she could rest.

Xiao Feng thanked him as she got on it and managed to lay down. Yuan Shuai scoffed seeing both were going to be sore from holding that position. Max placed his daughter into bed happy he got a chance to se her. In another room Hiromi placed her son to sleep as Wen Ning and Heshi looked over with her. When Wen Roulan pulled both his sons away by the ear. Xue Yang and his wife placed their son in his bed after he excitedly ranted about his day. While Azra looked for Xue Yang only to bump into Zander. "Did you get your mission done?" Zander asked staring at her expectantly.

"Your sister sent yours and her forces out to annihilate her own friend." Azra notified him causing him to stare at her shocked. "You never thought that was going to happen, didn't you?" Azra shifted her weight on one foot while staring at him. Zander didn't even answer as he took off running to find his sister. Zander saw that in her room was covered in snow. Taking a breath before opening it he gently opened the door. Yanwan was covered in snow and was asleep in her chair. Zander went up to her caressing her face softly before some jagged edges of ice launched at him.

Dodging the attack, he slid against the ice hitting himself against the cold bed. Yanwan's eyes open to see Zander grunting in pain. Yanwan surprised ran to her brother who glared at her. "What is this?" Zander asked confused. "Eh... remember mothers bloodline curse?" Yanwan looked away when Zander thought of it carefully. "Mother never had that you must've learned it from somewhere else." Zander looked at his sister for answers. "Fine it happened when I went to Jiu Yi Mountain to study just like mothers' path with uncle?" Yanwan asked if Zander remembered. "Yes... but I never saw you there." Zander realized that his family had been hiding more secrets than he thought.

"Once my powers showed up my mother urged our lousy excuse of a father to send me away." Yanwan scoffed remembering what he did to both her younger siblings. "Remember Xileng River in Jiu Yi Mountain?" Yanwan asked as Zander remembered taking Zhou Mian there to heal her. "Why do you think there was so many Yin energy stored there?" Yanwan asked as Zander thought things through. "There was a snow-covered mountain by the river." Zander responded. "Inside the mountain I stayed there isolated practicing controlling my magic." Yanwan cried making Zander loss of words.

"You weren't the only one who was isolated, till uncle died I was able to be free thanks to your disciple, and you are of course."  Yanwan wiped her tears. "I fled the place headed east not caring once where I called home." Yanwan looked away. "I settled in a remote village in Jizhou where I was adopted by a city magistrate and his son." Yanwan smiled saddened. "Who's lives were wrongly accused and oppressed by her your majesty Hai Lanying!" Yanwan yelled sobbing as Zander held her. "She not only stole my husband but made him bury me in a cold mountain place." Yanwan pushed Zander away walking away to the window.

"She will get what she deserves I'll make her pay for what she did, thank lord our youngest brother was too weak, I snatched the throne back to the Bai family not to a concubine's son." Yanwan said bitterly as Zander closed his eyes. "You didn't kill him and his wife, did you?" Zander was afraid of what she would answer. "I might be called the ice queen but I'm not heartless." Yanwan spat glaring at her brother. "I staged a coup like any prince or princess ever." Yanwan smiled chuckling. "I managed to gain forces on the way and more because I was Kongsangs only heir other than our brother." Yanwan patted him.
