Awake and Alive

Xiao Feng after having dinner with Aya went back to the lab and continued translating the scrolls she had on her desk. It was 5 am and she was getting tired she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore. Yawning she looked at the scroll that she took the whole night translating. "Almighty gods of the afterlife and underworld please heed my cry revive the pharaoh of light and eradicate this darkness that lives in this land. Revive what was once alive, the one who scarified his soul to end the darkness. Give this soul once more a chance of life. To grace ourselves with his mighty presence I shall call out his name Pharaoh Atem come to life!" Xiao Feng looked at the translation confused. "Did I translate wrong?" Xiao Feng said as she moved her chair to her computer and looked up the set of words from the email Aya sent her just incase she got stuck translating. Xiao Feng took thee gloves off in ordered to use the touch screen computer. She took a glance at the paper and reached out for but cut herself with it. "Ugh damn it!" Xiao Feng ran to the sink and ran her finger through some water and then patched it up. She grabbed some paper towels to try and clean her blood from the papyrus. She near the papyrus to see the few drops moved around the paper. The blood seemed to highlight the letters that where in Valindrian script after it was done the blood stayed on the down left corner of the paper. Xiao Feng grabbed the papyrus and looked at it. The blood seemed to reveal some sort of seal then glowed. Xiao Feng covered her eyes and dropped the papyrus on the desk while the immense light covered the room.
Atem couldn't sleep in his bed at night so he got up and looked out the sky. "My pharaoh." Anubis bowed as he walked next to him. "All mighty Anubis what do I owe you presence here." Atem said as he bowed. "It is time my pharaoh." Anubis said. "Time for what?" Atem asked confused. "To revive once more by descending into your own body and regaining your memories by helping the queen remembering hers." Osiris walked up to them and bowed in respect. "You need to help her so she can transcend here to the afterlife with you." Anubis clarified. "Didn't she needed to read some sort of a scroll and do a ritual?" Atem asked. "She's doing it as we speak that's why I'm here my pharaoh." Osiris explained. Both Osiris and Anubis started chanting on granting permission of reviving the pharaoh. Atem started to disappear from the afterlife and his soul traveled to the world of the living. In a bright light his soul came crashing down on the freezer his body was in. Atem opened his eyes and panicked not knowing where he was at. It was cold and dark were he was. "Where am I?" His voice sound raspy since he hasn't used it for so long in his body. "You need to get out of there pharaoh if not you'll die!" He heard Anubis yell at him. Atem panicking way more than he was now he started banging on the freezer. "Hello someone get me out of here!" Atem yelled.
Xiao Feng uncovered her eyes once the light from the scroll died down. She was going to approached to the scroll when she heard some banging coming from the freezer storage. Xiao Feng walked to the freezer and put her suit as fast as possible. She ran towards the noise which became louder as soon as she got to the part where they stored the mummies. "Are the guys pulling a prank on me?" Xiao Feng asked herself. Atem heard a voice on the outside very faintly. He started kicking and banging his hands on the container making the sound louder. "Hurry up get me out of here!" Atem yelled. Xiao Feng startled she ran to the noise thinking someone might of gotten trap there as a prank. She check the empty freezers but nothing. "Please don't tell me it's coming from one mummies." Xiao Feng said getting scared. She walked up to where the mummies were stored and the noise seem to be coming from where Atem was laid to rest. fearful Xiao Feng pulled the freezer open drawing Atem out. Atem almost out of breath jolted up as soon as he was out the freezer. "Ahhhhhh!" Xiao Feng yelled as she fell down scared looking up at the pharaoh who screamed as she screamed. Xiao Feng scrambled away from him and then got and ran away. "Wait... this... is.. cold..don't leave me here!" Atem yelled while shivering. Xiao Feng took off her gear and ran outside screaming. She kept running until she bumped into someone. She looked up and her eyes widen "Yugi! The ph..." Xiao Feng fainted before she even said something to him about the pharaoh. "Xiao Feng!" Yugi yelled as he caught her. He grabbed her and took her back to the lab and tried waking her up. "Xiao Feng are you alright? Wake up!" Yugi said as he placed her on the chair and shook her. "Anyone out there help!" Atem yelled as he heard a voice. "It's to tall for me to get down." Atem said looking down to where he was at while shivering. "Huh what was that?" Yugi said as he heard someone yell. Yugi grabbed a suit and put it on and went to investigate what was going on. "Someone... our there... I'm freezing!!!!" Atem yelled as he shivered. Yugi jumped hearing someone yell and walked slowly. "Come on Yugi there's no ghost, here they don't exist." Yugi pep talked himself. He arrived to the freezers and looked around and saw someone sitting up from one. "What the hell!" Yugi yelled as he ran towards the person. "Hey you help me out of here I'm freezing cold!" Atem yelled as he turned to look at the person in the suit. "Pharaoh?!" Yugi yelled as he recognized who was sitting up in one of the freezer. "Yes.. please help!" Atem said shivering. Yugi walked away to look for some sort of a ladder to help Atem get down. "No not you too please come back!" Atem yelled while he still shivered. Yugi found a ladder and dragged it back to where Atem was. "Thank Ra you came back!" Atem said relieved. "Pharaoh give me your hand and step down the ladder." Yugi instructed. Atem nodded and grabbed the suites guy's hand and moved his body to the left of the bed he was laying. He then moved his foot down shaking and placed it on the step, he then did the other foot. "Now slowly put your weight down your feet and stand on the ladder." Yugi instructed. Atem followed the guys directions and got up from the bed/ platform he laid. Shivering he stood up from the bed and then looked at Yugi. "Alright now go down each step carefully." Yugi instructed. Atem tried stepping down but lost balance since his feet weren't used that much in years. Yugi caught Atem before he hit the ground and carried him out of there. "You're a bit heavy or I need to start working out." Yugi struggled on carrying Atem out to the lab. Once in the lab Yugi helped Atem get to a chair. Atem saw a woman passed out on a chair and he wondered if she was the one that opened up where he was trapped. Yugi sat Atem there and moved to the changing area to take the suit off. Xiao Feng stirred and woke up with a splitting headache. "What happened?" Xiao Feng said as she grabbed her head and looked around. Yugi appeared from the changing area to see that Xiao Feng was awake while Atem shivered. "Yu...Yugi?" Atem shivered. Xiao Feng froze when she heard someone behind her. "Yugi please don't tell me..." Xiao Feng started crying as she looked at Yugi. Yugi walked up to her trying to calm her down. "Don't freak out and pass out again I need your help professor Xiao Feng." Yugi said as he slowly turned Xiao Feng to face Atem who was there shivering in his ancient Egyptian clothes. "Th..the... ahhhh!" Xiao Feng yelled as she clung to Yugi trying to get away from Atem. "Can.. I..I get a blanket please?" Atem shivered. "Xiao Feng please stop yelling I need your help do you have warm blankets!" Yugi shook Xiao Feng. "In... in the storage.. on the bed." Xiao Feng instructed. Yugi let her go and went to grab the blankets. Xiao Feng backed away until she bumped into the sink. "Xiaofa! Why is Atem's container open!" Max and Ace yelled as they entered from the freezer storage. "Holy behemoth!" Ace yelled as he saw Atem shivering. "The pharaoh is back!" Max yelled smiling. "Why are you so happy!" Xiao Feng said as she shivered of how scared she was. Max and Ace looked at her and went up to her. "That was supposed to happen we didn't need to be terrified we've seen too many people being brought back to life many times." Ace blurted out then covered his mouth as Max elbowed him. "What?" both Xiao Feng and Atem asked. "Here Atem these all the blankets I managed to find." Yugi said as he wrapped him in the blankets. "Oh yeah you were freezing there we need to get him to the hospital." Max said. "First we need to change him into warmer clothes and get those gold jewelry off him he will stand out." Xiao Feng said calming down. "Ey that's the Xiao Feng I know now loosen up and strategize." Ace cheered as he hugged her. "Get off and search for clothes." Xiao Feng pushed him. "I think I have some extra clothes in my backpack." Yugi suggested as he went up to his bag. "You have some extra shoes and socks by any chance?" Max asked. "Sure grandpa always says to bring a pair for any emergencies." Yugi said innocently. "Pfft what nerd." Ace whispered before giggling. Xiao Feng glared at him while her eyes changed making him stop laughing. "Sorry..." Ace bowed and cowered behind Max. "Oh come on now it's not the time to be afraid of her." Max moved away. "Since you're here you guys help him put those clothes and fill this up." Xiao Feng said as she gave the clipboard with the information of Atem. "Wait you want us freaking check his back and butt for the damn research?!" Max yelled as he looked at her. "You're an archeologist you know we have to." Xiao Feng said blushing. "Jesus Christ okay come on pharaoh." Max said as he slapped the clipboard to Ace. Max grabbed Atem in his arms and took him to the changing area. "Yo Ace hurry the hell up we need to do this before the students get here!" Max yelled as he set the pharaoh down. Max took him to the shower area and helped him wash off any chemicals then wrapped him off in a towel. "Yeah... let me get a ruler.." Ace stared at Xiao Feng then grabbed the ruler and left. "You morons forgot the clothes!" Xiao Feng said as she grabbed them from Yugi and followed them. She threw them at Ace then turned around. "Alright let's take these off." Max said as he helped the pharaoh take his arm plates. Ace took the cape and folded it neatly on the chair. "Who would've of thought we be undressing the pharaoh." Ace said blushing. "Wasn't that Xiao Feng's job she did had a thing with him..." Max muttered. "Wait what?!" Atem asked. "Oh no nothing my pharaoh let's get this garment off." Max smiled to him as he unclasped the pharaoh's clothes. "Wait what?! You gotta be kidding me Xiaofa!" Ace said as he looked at the list that still needed to be done. "You could've done that yesterday when he wasn't still alive!" Ace yelled disgusted. "I wasn't going to grab his penis and measure it in front of the students!" Xiao Feng turned and yelled then turned back to where she was. Max bursted out laughing as he heard her response. "This is ridiculous whoever made this rule should burn in Hell, sorry pharaoh." Ace said as he measured. "Okay haha place haha his new underwear haha!" Ace said as he wrote down the size. "Ace this is not the time to be laughing." Max stopped himself from laughing. "You guys need to grow up." Xiao Feng huffed. Atem embarrassed helped Max put him the clothes. "Wait are these leather pants?!" Ace yelled as he grabbed them. "Wait what?" Xiao Feng turned. "Bruh Ace put down that keyboard you're going to help me." Max said as he stared at the pants. Xiao Feng walked to Yugi who looked wide eyed at them. "You are.. nvm he's wearing leather pants!" Xiao Feng looked at Yugi who blushed for being examined. "Talk about leather fetish have you been hanging out with Kaiba lately?!" Ace asked as he helped Max and Atem putting the pants on. "Alright pharaoh zip the pants up." Ace said letting go once they placed the pants on. Atem zipped the pants. Max got the T-shirt and prepared it to pass it over Atem's head. "Alright arms up." Max said as he placed the T-shirt on. "Lift a foot please." Ace said as he took Atem's shoes and placed some sock on then the boot. "Alright the other foot." Ace said as he grabbed the other foot and placed the sock and shoe. Max grabbed the school jacket and helped Atem placed it on. "Alright pharaoh... wait why you leave those on?" Max asked as he saw that his arm bracelets still on making the jacket looked weird. "Eh... just leave them there I'm too cold to take the jacket off." Atem said shivering. "Alright let's leave them now put these blankets on." Max said as him and ace wrapped him up. "Can you walk now?" Xiao Feng asked as she peeked over. "What the hell he looks like a bad wrapped tamale!" Xiao Feng said as she pointed at him. "Hey he's cold and has feelings." Ace leaned on the pharaoh as Atem looked at him weird. "What does that had to do with.... ugh come on pharaoh let's see if you can walk on your own." Max said as he pulled him away from ace. Atem stumbled at first but managed to walk for a bit towards Xiao Feng before falling almost on top of her. "Eh we don't have a stroller somewhere don't we?" Xiao Feng said as she helped the pharaoh up. "How are you feeling?" Xiao Feng asked worried. "I ran out of breath as I walked up to you." Atem said breathless. "We need to wake those lungs up then." Xiao Feng said as she stared at Atem. "Hmmm sorry for interrupting your love affair Xiao Feng but got this oxygen tank we can hook him up with that then take him to the hospital." Ace said as he carried the tank with the mask. "We need to take him to a private one or somewhere that don't ask much." Max said as he cleaned his hands. "Why though?" Ace asked as he leaned on Yugi. "Because he's not just a normal person! He's a resurrected mummy that woke up a few minutes ago moron!" Xiao Feng yelled at Ace while glaring at him. "She's right but where?" "Max help get to the chair let me make a phone call to KaibaCorp hospital." Xiao Feng said as she helped Atem get to Max. "You know if Kaiba finds out he's alive he would want to duel him." Ace said as Xiao Feng glared at him. "I'm calling to make an emergency I'm heading over with a eighteen year old male who was electrocuted by a lightning bolt." Xiao Feng said and the guys giggled. "Close the damn hospital please and don't tell Kaiba about it this is Qu Xiao Feng speaking." Xiao Feng said in a growl which made Max and Ace stop. "She's scary when she growls." Ace whispered to Atem. She hung up and then called Zander to the phone. "Zander get the car here pronto and get Vahadır and Yasın to come with you without alerting the girls." Xiao Feng demanded. Xiao Feng once she hung up took a deep breath but was interrupted by a knocking on the door. "Xiao Feng it's me Kaiba!" Kaiba said as he stood outside. "Quick hide in the storage area place Atem on the bed!" Xiao Feng pushed Yugi into the storage area. Max grabbed Atem while Ace grabbed the tank and they went into the storage room. Xiao Feng closed the door of it and then walked to the door. She opened to see Kaiba with some flowers on his hands. "I couldn't come here for your first day of class since I have a multimillionaire company I have to run but here congrats on teaching." Seto said as he gave her the flowers. "Hehe... my favorite... thanks..." Xiao Feng said as she stared at them.
