The guys sat down on the pillows expect for Ace, Zander, and Yugi who chose to sit next to Yuan Shaui. Atem stood there feeling like he didn't belong sitting with the others on the pillows, so he waited to get told to sit with the others. "Pharaoh come sit with us." Tristan encouraged as he waved at him. "I... never sat on cushions before." Atem trying to hint to them due to his title he would be sitting on the couches. "Yes, you usually did when you dined with your concubines in your room." Vahadir blurted out before he got elbowed by Yasin.

"Yeah... well but not." Atem trailed off as Kerem got up along with Murat and Vedat who stared at him offended. "But what? Ah you mean not with common folk, or soldiers excuse us your royal highness!" Vedat spat as he wanted to punch Atem the moment. "I never said that!" Atem wished he was still a spirit within the puzzle so he could just go there and hide. Lanxi stared at them calmly as they argued. "Would the princess like to take the throne of our sultan!" Vedat summoned his weapon followed by the guards surrounding Lanxi.

"Step one foot near that throne and you'll be dead not by the soldiers but by my blade!" Vedat yelled angered as Kerem and Murat backed him up. "Don't forget you're talking to the Pharaoh!" Atem argued as he glared at them. "You're nothing but a guest Pharaoh!" Vedat barked as he gripped the hilt of his sword. "Vedat you're stepping out of line!" Atem yelled as he pulled out his sword. "This maybe be Egypt, but this is our territory where you are living and you're our guest now act like one!" Kerem yelled pulling Vedat behind him. "If you don't like it, you clearly know that the Sultana said you can leave, the only one welcomed here would be Yugi." Murat explained stepping in front of both Kerem and Vedat.

"I can't leave because..." Atem turned to face Yugi who sighed disappointed. "Vedat, Murat, Kerem and everyone else stand down!" Lanxi ordered using his authoritative voice. "Ooh do you feel that Ace?" Wei Wuxian gushed as he pulled Ace to touch his arm. "Ooh I also got chills when talks like that!" Ace squealed as they both fanboyed. "What are you, my wife?" Lanxi looked at them disgusted. "You don't want us to." They both teased him making groan as the others laughed. "I don't act like that though it is attractive!" Xiao Feng defended herself causing an uproar of laughter.

"Pharaoh according to Valindrian's laws..." Lanxi was about to tell him when Gazanfer interrupted him as he rushed to him. "My dear Sultan please let us explain for you don't need to waste your breath and words in these situations." Sumbul added as the ağas rushed to them. "Go ahead." Lanxi relaxed in the chair as Atem sheathed his sword looking at them upset. "It is tradition that only the Sultan must be the only one seated in the garden or in the imperial chamber." Gazanfer explained as he lifted his finger as if he was pointing out the rules.

"They are few exceptions to the rule." Sumbul butted in as Gazanfer glared. "The princes who are sons of the sultan and those who carry royal bloodline may sit in the tent accompanying the sultan." Gül Ağa interrupted Sumbul who glared at him. "What do you mean by carrying royal bloodline?" Duke asked as he glanced at those explaining. "He means the sons of the previous Sultan or cousins of the sultan." Yasin explained as Duke acknowledged. "Family members you mean?" Tristan asked while they nodded.

"So, what would we be doing if we actually followed traditions?" Bakura asked as he looked up at them. "You were to stand behind the sultan as he enjoys the afternoon here." Lockman Ağa gestured to Zhong Li as an example. "Our Sultan was kind enough to let you all sit here instead of calling each of you to come talk to him." Gazanfer stated as he bowed at Lanxi. "So, what will it be pharaoh sit or stand?" Zander offered as he glanced at him. "Gazanfer what would happen to envoys or kings that visited Valindria." Atem asked wanting to see if it was different for them.

"They stood as they give advice and walked around the garden speaking with the Sultan, sometimes there would be arranged meetings over dinners in designated mansions so they could speak to our ruler." Gazanfer answered as Atem looked away embarrassed. "It was rare seeing them even visit the council, they had to arrange a meeting to get in with the vizier who asked the Sultan." Gu Jian explained as he looked at the Ağası for confirmation.
