Dongfang QingCang glared at Xie Wei after he bumped into him. "Don't pay attention to him." Fang Nuan snaked her arms around Dongfang QingCang's shoulders. "Leave me alone." Dongfang QingCang pleaded. "Father." The girls hugged him earning a smile. Lin Yun bowed respectfully towards him always showing respect. The sea god's bride. Those words kept resonating throughout his head as he eyed Lin Yun.

Shaking his head he went up to her and caressed her head as she looked up at him surprised. "I missed you all, I guess it takes a war and death to make you appreciate what you have." Dongfang QingCang confessed to Lin Yun and Fang Nuan smiled at him. Luo Mingxi went up to him and told him they would be leaving tomorrow knowing Chao Xing would want A Li to stay there for a while. "Well, at least I can bother my brother in the meantime." Dongfang QingCang smiled while his daughters shook their heads.

Yuan Shuai stopped in front of Li Susu's apartment. He opened the door knowing Zimi was with her mother. Walking inside he saw she had made the place simple with a very modern to classic style and touches of pink due to Zimi's stuff lying around. He used his powers to locate them and went to the room. Xie Wei entered the house, saw Zimi's and Li Susu's mess, and started cleaning up for them. Yuan Shuai entered the room and Zimi didn't even move to greet him; she just stayed there grabbing her mother's hand.

Yuan Shuai kneeled on the other side as he caressed Li Susu's hair out of her face. The more he stared at her, the more he tried to feel what he felt in his tribulation with her. It wasn't there as if feelings were misplaced. He just felt sad for what she had been through. Zimi stole glances at him and then at her mother. She wasn't lying about his looks. Zimi sighed as she lay her head on the mattress next to her hand. Yuan Shuai remembered how they would often bicker making him snicker.

Li Susu heard him and stirred awake just when he got up to leave. Li Susu grabbed his hand looking at him. "Stay please." Li Susu whispered as she looked at Zimi. Yuan Shuai sighed and sat down on the bed next to her. "You're going to pull another thing to try and get me to love you again?" Yuan Shuai taunted her making her scoff. "I know you don't have feelings for me anymore." Li Susu glared at him. "But I just want you to stay because of her." Li Susu caressed her daughter's hair.

"You want me to babysit?" Yuan Shuai scoffed as he glared at Li Susu. "She's yours." Yuan Shuai raised his hand stopping her. "I think by how you acted today we have already found the culprit." Yuan Shuai smiled getting up. "I doubt it remember the honeymoon." Li Susu blushed upon bringing it up making Yuan Shuai laugh nervously. "You were the one who tried to seduce me to kill me." Yuan Shuai accused her. "Yet you attacked me." Li Susu followed him. "There only needs to be one god and it was you so you could end the Devil Lords' reign." Yuan Shuai argued.

"Tantai Jin! You sacrificed yourself for the world I cherished didn't you?" Li Susu held his arm. Yuan Shuai scoffed as he shook her off. "You were being a puppet for the goddesses none of them were your feelings." Yuan Shuai chuckled as he stared at her defiantly. Li Susu blinked confused and stared at him trying to find those feelings she once felt. "You were so focused on protecting yourself and sect that you even took those feelings and lost yourself trying to make them real." Yuan Shuai with tears in his eyes looked down at her.

Li Susu fell as he left the apartment. The bracelet turned purple and broke. Do you fear me? Do you hate me? Li Susu scoffed as she used tears. I fear you will try to end the world again. Li Susu looked down at the bracelet that had turned into the soul-slaying nails. Gasping, she looked at them and remembered when she attacked Tantai Jin with them. The soul-slaying nails disappeared before her eyes before she could touch them.

Yuan Shuai stumbled down the last steps as he grabbed his chest in pain. He looked up the stairs as tears poured down his face. Wiping them he left to walk outside to get fresh air. "Oh great god of war chosen to be the devil lord what shall you do today?" Yuan Shuai heard a faint voice call out to him. He looked forward to the pavilion as the image of a purple-haired woman racing to it as she giggled. Yuan Shuai chased it and was about to touch her when she disappeared leaving a lone Platy codon flower on his hand.
