Once they gathered the survivors who were once held prisoners by Darkus men, everyone helped them settle down by building houses in the area, making it a small city where a battlefield once stood. Seher was hauled towards the citadel gates. Morgana gestured to continue as Han Yu Fei's team climbed the wall and opened the gates. Xue Yang pushed Seher inside as they climbed the stairs that led to the citadel city walls.
As an empty shell, she walked with a rope tied around her neck, caressing her ring, which was given to her as she became Darkus's main consort. This ring contains poison; this is your only way out of he falls. Seher remembered Xiao Feng's words as she stood in front of her when they were in Egypt. "I want water, please," Seher pleaded as they reached the top. Xue Yang called upon one of his men to bring a canteen of water.
Xue Yang pulled on her rope taking her to the place where he thought be visible from the castle. "Is this the place?" Xue Yang asked her as she nodded. She dumped the contents of the poison in the canteen and took a deep chug of it then dropped it on the ground. Her heart started beating faster as the poison soon kicked in. She glanced at the city she once entered and remembered when Yuan Shuai told her not to be scared of the mission.
She turned to look at him who seemed not to care what was going on. As soon as Xue Yang secured the rope Seher stumbled to the ground coughing out blood. "Damn it you're always trying to take the easiest way out!" Morgana rushed to her. Seher ran to the side of the wall and jumped as her body swung from the rope not allowing her to escape or reach the ground. Choking she held the rope trying to loosen it only for the poison to act faster. Seher's hand dropped to her side and she stopped wiggling just as a small sphere dropped to the ground.
Darkus stood up from his chair as he saw the globe that Giselle used to spy on the others. He saw how Seher hung over the wall lifeless swinging from the structure where flags often hung. Darkus screamed and cried seeing that his long-time beloved who was there for him had died. "You'll pay for this sister!" Darkus yelled furiously a he glared at the globe. As he saw they hung his friends' bodies over only Yan Xun's and Lu Yan's missing.
He went to look over the basin to check on their stars only to not find them shining. Darkus fell to the ground crying feeling alone. His army was destroyed along with his friends and family. Only one left was Infrit who was the only one that served as the only frontline he had. Morgana's hair swished against the air as she climbed down and stared once more at the citadel before leaving it behind.
"The sooner we leave the better," Azra spoke as they rode back to the camp. Yasin was sitting outside the funerary house as he waited for them to come back. Once they arrived they dropped off their horses and stared at Yasin who was brokenhearted. "At least she didn't die in a foreign land," Ivy whispered as tears welled up inside. "She died defending her own home." Morgana sighed seeing the group feeling bad.
"What are you going to do?" Vahadir asked Yasin in terms with Lavinia's body. "Bury her here, this will be our new home." Yasin sighed looking around the small city. "Your majesty pardon my intrusion but what will this city be called or is it part of Taurus city?" Gazanfer Aga asked as he held the register of the cities of Valindria in his hand. "Linkon," Yasin spoke making everyone turn to him, especially Zira.
"In her honor." Yasin glanced at Morgana who nodded as she looked at Miraz Effendi who agreed. "A memorial plaque should be built here in this land and a statue to commemorate the fallen." Miraz Effendi spoke as everyone said Amen. Gazanfer wrote the name and walked to the council members so they could approve the name. "You saw its future now we have to make it reality." Morgana turned to Zira as Morgana's eyes glowed bright blue.
Max looked at her confused as Zira nodded slowly. All of them dispersed around either preparing themselves for the cemetery. Chu Qiao walked over seeing all the coffins ready to be carried. Only two were decorated with the flag of their respective nations. Yuzhou's and Qingzhou's flags were laid on two separate coffins. One decorated with the flag of Jizhou then joined as it was assembled up front with the other two.
