[Okay, so I wrote this lyrical poem a while ago based on what I was feeling and experiencing at the time. Andd I'm pretty sure a lyrical poem is basically just a song because it has a repeating chorus so I hope you all enjoy! And I decided to share it with you guys and receive some feedback on your guys thoughts. So please comment and tell me what you think!😊]
Title: Promise
"Just forget them," they mumbled
*Creak* the window opened with the midnight breeze traveling in my room gently kissing my cheek as I crumbled
A smile was seen, then thinking and sobbing
Curling into a ball as my head was throbbing
Rocking back and forth as I kept on nodding
Droplets fell as I remembered the memories
Those were my worst enemies...
When will it end?
When will I finally forget?
When will all this pain eventually just make sense...
It was Autumn when we met
It was winter when you left
You moved onto Spring already
For me, it wasn't that easy
In fact, I was broken
Physically, I have moved on to Winter, but inside, my heart was frozen
In Autumn weather, red, orange, and yellow filled the ground
Birds dancing, the sun smiling, as the leaves flew around
It was just you and me, laughing, smiling, having fun
As time went on everything died down, even the sun
You no longer needed me, so you were gone
The string that once bought us together were now drawn
You didn't care, not one bit
I was dying, to admit
When will it end?
When will I finally forget?
When will all this pain eventually just make sense...

But I guess promises are meant to be broken whenever?
*huff* Maybe it's finally time to move on whatsoever
But will I ever forgive you?
