Plot: Taehyung has a loving daughter that he has single handily for 6 years. But Taehyung soon finds out that she can't make it past the age of 7, and her daughter's wish is to meet the man in a photo that her father keeps in his wallet. It was Jungkook in the picture, Tae and Kook haven't talked much in the years, so is Tae able to fulfill his daughter's wish..?

Author's POV
"I'm very sorry Mr.Kim, but April here can't live past 7 years because of her brain tumor, so..."
"So w-what?" Tae quivered out, tears brimming his eyes as his hands tightened into a fist
"She only has around 7 months left-at most." the doctor informed, Taehyung opened his mouth but closed it and bit his lips as he looked around the cold doctor room, blinking his tears away.
"T-thank you Doctor, we will be going n-now, thank you for the information," he bowed and held his daughter's hand, walking out of the hospital and into the car.
"Appa...don't be sad, you can't change anything, this isn't your fault," April pouted, staring at how serious her dad's face is when driving
"I...I'm sorry sweets, I didn't-"
"Appa, why are you apologizing," she giggled, "I-I'm not scared! I'm brave," she crossed her arms making Tae laugh
"Alright, alright. Since...since you don't have much time left d-do you have any wishes or requests you would like me to do for you?"
"*gasp* Yes! The man in the photo appa, I want to meet him!"
"What?"
"The man in the photo, you know the one that you keep in your wallet?" April's eyes glistened, she has always wanted to meet that stranger in her dad's wallet. That man has always been a mystery to her.
"Well...that shouldn't be too hard I think, I'll figure something out, but in the meantime, what should we do now?"
"Ice cream!!"
"Bu-"
"Pleaseee," she whined, knowing that trick worked on Tae
"Fine, fine, only because you're so cute," Taehyung chuckled, although he doesn't show it, he was beyond terrified for his poor daughter, but he will try his best to make sure she stays happy.
Time skip - one month later
"Come on April, you don't wanna be late to meet the guy you've been asking about," Tae smiled gently, seeing his daughter hop down the stairs
"Oh my gosh, finallyy, I get to see appa's friend!"
"Yes, yes, now hurry up yea?"
"Coming!"
(At the playground)
"Hi Jung-"
"Are you the mystery guy in my appa's wallet?" April jumped out, absolutely freaking Jungkook out
"T-taehyung hyung you have a k-kid!" He said out of shock, "And h-how is she-"
"I'll explain later Jungkook, and yes April, this is Jungkook, appa's close friend from a while ago,"
"Wahh, he's handsome, more handsome than uncle Jin," she giggled
"Shh, don't let your uncle Jin hear that," Tae laughed, "Here you go play on the playground for a bit hm? I'm going to talk to Jungkook for a while, then we can go home and eat with him okay?"
"Yayy! Okay~"
"Alright, let's sit over here,"
"Hyung! W-why didn't you tell me you have a kid-how is she even that big though?! I-it's not been long since we've last talked and-"
"What are you freaking out about Kook?" Tae chuckled softly
"I-I...I wan-"
"I--wait-aww don't cry, why are you crying Koo?" the older quickly wiped the said boy's tears and pulled the younger into a comforting hug in the process, even though he's confused, he's still kind of worried.
"I'm sorry I left without really saying a-anything," he sniffled out, leaning his face onto Tae's chest
"It's all in the past, it's fine," Tae sighed, patting Jungkook's head and slowly pulling away from the hug
"No, d-don't pull away..." the younger whispered quietly but Taehyung didn't hear so Koo unwillingly let go of the hug
"Now, I'm gonna tell you what happened in the past 4 years, this isn't my biological daughter, but I found her in a large box in an alley way, she was only 2 at the time. I took her in and raised her, I didn't have the heart to put her in an adoption center, so I've single handily raised her for the past 4 years. But...a month ago we found out that..." Tae's breath hitched, before he sighed and looked up, blinking away his tears, "That she d-doesn't have much time left. She has a brain tumor that is already too l-late to be cured."
"Hyungi-I mean hyung, I'm so sorry," Koo looked at Tae with his glossy eyes, but then quickly asked, "W-why did you want to meet up then?"
"That's because I want April to live life to the fullest for the next few months, I don't want her to be sad at any point from here till when she has to leave. So her wish was to meet you, since she's seen our picture in my wallet many times." the older chuckled
"You kept that picture?" Jungkook asked, surprised
"Yea...I couldn't bring myself to put it away," Tae looked back at Jungkook's eyes and said, "I've missed you a lot Koo, and I hope you can stay with me for a few months to make sure April can fulfill her wishes, despite the fact that we lost contact for a while," he smiled sadly
"Of course hyung! I-I'll try my best really, and I'm still sorry for leaving, I-"
"It's fine Koo, I don't want to hear anything sad currently, because I know my mood will affect April hm?" Tae ruffled Jungkook's hair
"M'kay," he bit his lips before looking up at the older, "Can we..."
"Hm?"
"Can we h-hug again?" Jungkook blushed slightly
"Sure," Tae smiled and galdly pulled the younger into a hug. Despite not talking much for the past 4 years, both males can feel something in the air. They both had a feeling that maybe they will stay with each other now, no matter what they are, they will support and help each other...

Hello bunnos, hope you guys enjoyed that chapter. I felt like I should split this story into 2 parts because after writing for a while, I feel like this whole story as one chapter will be a bit overwhelming, so look forward to the next part!
