Author's POV

In this world, there is a stimulation that happens. Once you are born, there will be a name tattooed on your arm. One will be the name of your lover/soulmate and the other is the name of a person you have to kill. Though the name of the person you have to kill sometimes will appear randomly, the person chosen will most definitely be a challenge. And once the name appears on your arm, you have to kill that person. Even though if you don't want to kill this person, you can either kill them yourselves or watch them be killed, you have to do one of the two. Everyone's life is based on the 2 stupid names that are imprinted on their arms and those who don't obey will have their most fragile and loving item taken away, along with their life...

Now...I think everyone at one point in their lives wants to hear the words 'you're my one and only' and be pulled into a gentle but protective embrace and know that those arms that are around them will be their safe place for the rest of their lives. This is what Jungkook wanted ever since he heard abt soulmates.
He sadly lost his soulmate because of his job, because his father was a previous mafia member, the leader recommended him to promote his son to take over his job since he is retiring. Jungkook's father didn't think it will be much of a bad idea and did as he was told. Jungkook hated it, and the only reason for that is that he had to separate from his soulmate, whom he loved and cared for. But because this job was secret and too dangerous to let any outsiders know, he had to break up with him.

{Present time}

"Jeon, are you in your position?" a male voice was heard in Jungkook's Bluetooth earbuds as he rolled his eyes

"Yes, how many times do I have to do this? I'm bored already, all I do is aim and shoot, can't you give me something challenging for once?" Kook sassed, chewing on his gum as he stood ontop of the hide-out building

"I know you are our best sniper, but you don't have to say it like that. You make me seem so-"

"Boring?" Jungkook cut the other man off, already aiming at the people that are below him.

"Alright so your target today i-oh." the man paused, confusing the younger on the other line

"What is it Namjoon hyung? Hurry up and give me the name, I want to go home and sleep so let's get this done with,"

"Aish it's nothing, you must know this person that's why."

"What? How do you know?"

"The target is written on your arm...it's the name that's tattooed on your arm, the one you have to kill,"

"What? Omg really?! Finally, I've been waiting for this day, people say that the person that's written on their arm is the hardest person to kill because you love them dearly or something. My parents have passed away and I don't have siblings so I'm good haha." The younger laughed as he rolled up his sleeve before continuing, "I mean how hard can it b-" he paused, staring at the names written on his wrists.

"Are you still gonna be arrogant and keep taunting? If you say it's not hard then shoot your target already."

"But t-there is only 2 of the same name-" Jungkook gasped as he realized why people said that the person they were destined to kill was so hard. For Jungkook, the name of his soulmate is the same name written as the person that he has to kill

That was the name that was tattooed both times on Jungkook's wrists.

"T-there has to be another person named that r-right? Yea. T-this is just a coincidence."
